Recommend some GC games.

It really wouldn't be that costly to remake the Resident Evil series since developing for the Wii is rather cheap compared to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and the sales of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles proved that there is a market out there for the Resident Evil series on the Wii.

So is it cheaper and easier to develop for the Wii than it was Gamecube? On Gamecube when they remade RE1, I remember Capcom saying it was a big chance(sales wise) since it took so long and cost so much to basically reinvent the game.

It could be cheaper given the Wii's lack of graphical horsepower compared to developing for the 360 or PS3.

It would probably cost more than the original Resident Evil remake because instead of simply because it would have to be completely redone to impliment RE4 gameplay.

And Resident Evil on the Gamecube was a gamble because Capcom decided to make it exclusive for the Gamecube which was in last place last generation and third party games aren't very successful.

But Wii development is relatively cheap compared to developing for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The user base is larger than the Gamecube's and the market for the Resident Evil series is there proven by the sales of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

And to make it even better, they want to do it.

Tales of Symphonia is a fun RPG. It also supports 4-players during combat.

viewtiful joe-its a little hard but fun, the funky art direction and crazy characters make this game a buy.

sonic heroes-i know what your thinking...a sonic game...complete madness...but here me out, the camera's a little wonky and some levels require steady controling, but in the end its really fun and one of the few sonic games that wont make you lash out in anger.

resident evil 4 for the wii-2 words "buy it"

super mario sunshine-i dont understand the hate for the game...i thought it was great and definately showed why nintendo's the best at what they do. the graphics are amazing and show that the gamecube had some serious horsepower. especially when it comes the water effects...this game has some of the most stunning water effects to date. also yoshi makes a return! spoiler: bowser talks...yeah kind of a weird moment....

budokai 2-even if your not a dbz fan you should check this game out, you might be a little lost with the whole dbz storyline and plot, but once you get pass that there's a fun and enjoyable fighter to be found. just like your standard fighter you've got your long range attacks, short range attacks, and etc. but being a dbz game there are also twists to the formula, you can add features to the character you play as( goku, gohan, etc.), some features strengthen your character others can slowly drain your oppenents health down helping you to snag those not so easy victories. The AI's pretty good and there are some destructable areas, the music is definately fun and catchy fitting the spirit of the anime perfectly (though if your a purist and want the japanese tracks you'll have to go to the tenki'ichi part of the series for that). Yes, i am a fan of the series but i definately know a good game when i see one.

Super smash bros. melee-yeah just buy it

Mario kart double dash-rent it, its a really solid game but it seems that either they have cranked up the difficulty in this game or something is seriously wrong with my mario kart skills. being a veteran of the mk64 version i thought i'd have no problem with this game. well i got knocked down a few pegs and it was not fun. it seemes the skills you picked up from mk64 are going to need a serious overhaul, so expect a few last place finishes the first couple of times. but as time goes on you'll get the hang of it and have a good time with it.

well i guess that's it for now...:)

no they do not sonic hereos was fun and so was budokai on the gamecube, and unless you've played them yourself then your opinion in the matter does not matter.

I can't speak for everyone else who didn't like Mario Sunshine but the main reason I couldn't get into it was because it didn't really feel like a Mario game.

I just didn't like those new characters the 'Delfinos' or whatever they were called. The water gimmick seemed cool at first but didn't have a long lasting appeal to me.

i think that part of the reason for the backlash for the game is after sm64 people expected another game of that calibur, but after a game like that what else it there left for nintendo to do...nintendo is an amazing company but you cant expect home-runs every single time. and a lot of people were expecting a game comparable to the second coming of christ or of epic proportions that when nintendo gave them a pretty decent game they felt let down.

but enough rambling sms is definately a game that you pick up an play and put down and come back to it again. good in short bursts...now galaxy say good bye to you loved ones because you wont be seeing them for a long time!!!
