really looking forward to this one.

played gun and call of juarez and felt they were lacking but this looks to make up for it:up:

Gun seemed sort of pointless to me. I don't even remember what I was supposed to be doing in that game.

This game looks really great. I hope it has a huge area to explore and lots of little missions to do.

Gun is getting a sequel too, I hear.

But, playing as a Clint Eastwood clone is quite an advantage, I'd say.

Trailer looked nice. I'm not sure, but it kinda looked like we'll be able to change outfits. I think I saw the lead character in two different suits.

I certainly hope you would be able to change outfits. However, keep in mind that the guy from GUN had a lot of different costumes over the course of the game, but you could never manually choose them.

I'm definitely excited about this game. Big fan of Revolver, finally found a copy about a week ago and played it again. Good times.

This one looks to be a whole different game though, with the free roam and everything. The interactive wildlife sounds fun, and I'm glad dueling is back. I just hope it isn't as frustrating like it can be at times in revolver (Mr. Kelly anyone?).

Red Dead Revolver was a poor game. I did not care for it. But Gun was a great amount of fun. The story was cool, the open-world and hunting was awesome and I just smiled playing it. But the world was just too small and the game too short. I was hoping Neversoft would make a Gun 2, but it appears not to be happening.

So, if this redeems Rockstar's past effort and surpasses Gun, I am all for it.

So I take it from this thread most considered Gun a success? Cuz I'm getting a bunch of PS2 games I missed when they were current while I'm in college, so I was wondering if that would be a game to find.

C'mon! Red Dead pissed all over Gun.

I haven't played RDR yet, but Gun wasn't bad. Not too memorable--I had to look it up on Gamespot to remind myself what it was, and I can't remember if I ever actually finished it--but not bad.

Yea, the only thing i remember about Gun was that Tom Jane voiced the lead character and if you shot someone in the face, they wouldnt die. I hated that. Never did finish Gun.

its about damn time. early 2010 is already heavy as is but i can't wait to play this game

This is definitely one of my most anticipated for next year.

Have you tried Gun? It's worth the $10 it would cost you now, and has Tom Jane as the voice of the lead character.

Yea Gun as one of the first games i got for the 360. I liked parts of it, ie Tom Jane, but i hated the fact that enemies could absorb multiple rounds to the face.
