Ugh, this is pissing me off. I'm at MacFarlane Ranch and go to save Thieve's Landing. Every time I save it though, War disappears and I get some regular horse or an undead horse. Even when I hitch War in Thieve's Landing.

Thats strange...I hitched War and he became mine. But when I lasso'd Pestilence, I still wanted to keep War by not hitching him but he disappeared.

Well, that was pretty f*****g funny. hahahaha. i found pestilence, tamed him and then cursed at myself for not realizing it was pestilence. i did not know what his special thing was and it said "He is nearly impossible to kill" I said "That's it?! WTF?!" The second I was done yelling, I ran off a cliff by accident and survived...he didn't. So much for "nearly invincible"

Yeah pestalince died on me after falling off a smallllll cliff...like only 10 ft...so his specialty is crap...War rocks though

I was on War and ran over a small walk. All of a sudden I'm flying through the air. War died tripping on a rock

Yet we were able to fall down a mountain and did fine. The horses should be invincible. They are the Horses of the ****ing Apocalypse!

Yeah, it's really annoying that they're still killable. I read that they don't respawn until after you beat the game, too.

Yeah. That's dumb. At least make us able to find them again if they die or disappear. If I lost War, the only other option is Famine who sucks.

Death better be invincible. I mean...it's Death's horse. How can it die?

I want the unicorn more than anything else. The thought of raining unholy vengeance upon the zombie hordes while my horse poops out rainbows and butterflies is just too wonderful to pass up.

I just got it and it feels like Im playing a Buffy the Vampire Slayer game starring John Marsten as the slayer...lol. Its kinda creepy but fun

Trying to kill bears and cougars with the goddamn torch is becoming a major pain in the ass.

Just beat Undead Nightmare

for those who have beaten the game

So the game ends with John returning the mask and going back home and then it cuts to a few months with Seth stealing the mask and John rising from the dead...Is this the ONLY ENDING??? No additional surprise? No encounter with seth or anything? Wish I had more

^^
Yes, it is. I've already got 100%, tbh. Personally, I didn't feel dissapointed at all. I was actually surprised that i could play as undead John.

Hey, Corp. Did you find out how to stab the Zombies with the torch. I think I know what makes the difference. I'm always holding L2 pressed to aim and hit with R2. I didn't know you could only tap R2 to use the torch. I've been stabbing dozens of Zombies now in the face. :awesome:

How do you get the zombie bait? It says I have to bring back a special zombie in the canyon, but I think I might have killed them all. Is there another place to get one?

So I thought I did everything, but now I have to do 14 more search and rescue missions. Although it's nice riding the unicorn. :o

So I have this game on 360, but my 360 just broke. I really want to play this Undead Nightmare pack. I might borrow the game from my buddy and play on my PS3. Do I need a regular save to play it? Would I start off with no old weapons or horses, or is the DLC all on it's own and isn't affected by old saves?

It's its own thing. It actually has separate saves for Undead Nightmare and everything. If you haven't gotten to the third act of Red Dead Redemption's main game, you're spoiling a nice moment for yourself, but the stories aren't really too connected. Understandably, when the zombie plague hits, things kind of go off on a pretty wild tangent.

Oh I already beat the main game on 360. But if I borrow my bud's PS3 copy I'd be starting fresh if I went into the main game. But if Undead Nightmare is totally separate then I guess I have nothing to worry about.

Thanks, Corp.

They don't respawn until you beat level 5 of the horses of the apocalypse challenge. After that you get the deeds to all four horses and can spawn them whenever you want.

Yeah, as Corp said the main spoiler is where you start off at giving away events in future chapters. The other spoilers mainly boil down into seeing zombified characters you've met or killed throughout the game, and teaming up with others. At the menu screen when you choose single player it'll actually give you the option of loading the normal RDR or UN. You also start out with next to no weapons and restock as you go through, so you don't carry weapons over from you're normal single player.

As for myself, I just hit Mexico. I've wanted to play more but something came up and I've quit playing it for a bit. I liked where it was going tho, and plan to play some more soon. I've been tempted to click on some of you guys' spoilers heh, but resisting the urge. I think the thing i like most tho is that this really is like it's own game. It's a long DLC, with the entire game redone. It's not like most DLC where it just adds 1 or 2 quests and a small new patch of land. It plays like it's own game. I think it was really smart of Rock*, that instead of devoting resources to making an entirely new area from scratch, they just re-dressed up already made maps, dropped a new story, and new enemies in it, and kepts it normal DLC price. I wouldn't mind if others follow suite, like an Oblivion or Dragon Age DLC where Monsters/Darkspawn suddenly overrun all of the towns, and you are given a new story and items and have to go through each town and reclear them. All the while redoing the towns where they're on fire and run down until you clear them and they go back to normal or something like that.

Hey guys, I'm stuck trying to get that latino chick an undead to test, and I keep bringing her zombies, but none are the 'normal undead' she's looking for. I thought she wanted one of those drifters who say they feel sick, but that didn't work. how do you find one that's been 'recently' turned?

EDIT: figured it out. Had to find one of those crying lovers who then get mauled by their dead zombie lover, hah.

poppy somethins and snow somethins mixed make zombie bait lol...idk the exact names but you can search exactly how...
and then press select or back...and then click to make undead bait!

ok so i cant find a unicorn...whats all needed to find that horse!
i just lost war because i saved the game and he vanished...used him the whole dang game and the last mission hes gone :(

Unicorn popped up northeast of Casa Madrugada going towards Torquemada. He doesn't pop up as a mythical creature but he does stand out being white with the rainbow and everything.
