CM starts shooting this February for a March 8, 2019 release. There's no way Warners will have either one ready for that period. The only DC title that will be out in spring 2019 will be Shazam, but WB ought to keep it in April.

The Batman is rumored to start filming next summer, which means a likely late 2019 or early 2020 release date. IT: Chapter Two probably won't start filming until late spring/early summer too.

What are you talking about? Movies move dates all the time for a variety of reasons. It is always better to maximize your audience and receipts. If Deadpool doesnt move it is going to get trounced. (though Han Solo most likely will move due to the delays anyways)

He's ignoring that studios can open a blockbuster film in virtually any month of the calendar year.

Summer and holiday spots are certainly more lucrative, but they get booked up years in advance (thanks, Disney!). Late winter, spring and fall are definitely alternatives that can rake in the cash.
