How much do you see today? Are you amazed that a character like Michonne on The Walking Dead or Burnham on Star Trek Discovery are played by actresses and that they are Black?

what about a character like Captain Jack on Dr.Who being openly bi-sexual?

Is this going to increase in the future or is this the peak of this representation now? Can you think back to diversity in films/tv series of the past and how it relates to today?

could you see a trans-person being the lead of a network tv series or a person with disabilities in a big role in a major action film (where their disability is not relevant to the plot at all)?
