With all this buzz about the Democrat's Candidates we are bombarded with, who are you supporting for the Republican Candidacy?

Topics to keep in mind:

Economy
War on Terror
Taxes
Health Care
State's Rights
Individual Rights
Property Rights

Well, I am a registered democrat (though I have leaned closer to indie lately. I can't vote in the Republican primary, but if I could it would be for Huckabee.

Frankly, none of the candidates on either side thrill me...so I'm conflicted at the moment on who I'd support.

To be honest, none of the Republican candidates inspire me (I'm an Independent voter). Paul has some good ideas but he's in no way electable. Giuliani is a dirty, corrupt, power-mongering, opportunistic fascist and Romney isn't much better. McCain is toothless and ineffectual, especially within his own party, but I like the guy's personality. Huckabee has already been caught lying about his tax policies and he's a creationist so I really don't trust him to do what's right for the country. And Thompson isn't even a factor.

huckabee is a creationist? no way can someone of sound mind vote for him. no way.

I think the better question is who is actually considering to vote for a Republican in the Presidential election?

Huckabee has a good stance on taxes, but his plus side ends there. Really, I like McCain, but the man doesn't stand a chance in hell. I'm scared of Romney and Giuliani absolutely terrifies me. I think I'm going to vote deomcrat on this one. So far I'm liking Biden, Richardson and Edwards. None of the republicans are doing it for me.

Ron Paul, he is the only one that will protect our constitutional rights.

McCain is the only Republican I've ever voted for.

Edit:
Sorry, I realized I misspelled Huckabee.

You left out gay marriage and abortion......two very important social conservative hot buttons.

I see those as Individual Rights, Rights the government should step away from.

Sorry Satch, but it's people like you that bring democracy to a screeching halt. You not voting is how big cooperations get their favorite candidates into office.

Meh - really politics is extrememly uninteresting to me. Until they can capture my imagination they dont deserve my vote, i'm not in the USA btw.

Voting is not just a right in the US. Thanks, Steve Rogers.

I see those as as the right to bare arms more than gay marriage and abortion.
There's a line in the Constitution that I hold dear: "The Rights of the individual shall not be infringed upon."
