Resistance: 40 person multiplayer, 2 match types revealed, offline co-op confirmed

Resistance has done nothing but improve from the first footage shown; it wasn't CG. It had aliasing and a choppy framerate galore, there were missing animations etc... I think it looks better in motion then in stills. Actually it looks sort of bad in stills.

Get a video of Black and a video of Resistance there will be a huge F**KING diffrence.

Resistance has explosions and amazing particle effects that could never be grasped on the PS2 or the Xbox. There are a ton of people on screen if you count there is like 18 in one shot and 32 in another. The game will have amazing graphics and heres why.

You keep forgetting that what was demoed at E3 was not on final PS3 hardware. Plus it was only 70% done usually Insomniac goes over and polishes when the game is fully complete or maybe that 30% is the graphics that they are working on.

Also remember Halo for the original xbox the graphics looked horrible in one of the announcement trailers. The Spider-Man movie game looked a lot better. Halo had shields on the Elites arms and Master Chiefs sounded like a robocop rip off and that was like six months before the game released. Same applies for Resistace. What was demoed at E3 was just the tip of the ice berg Ted Price said, he plans on making huge graphical leaps with the remaining time they have. A good four months to go.

Halo is an excellent example because it sort of was horribly done with the voice acting and the enviornments didn't look that astonishing but then it came and bit us all in the assess when we all sort of doubted it and now it had the most amazing graphics.

Insomniac can pull this off because they have a ton of talent and their graphics for games are always really well done. Trust me they are not going to dissappoint, just look at their track record.

Also PSM said "Although it was a loss losing 60 Frames per second they said its well worth it because the graphics are superb now and it was a well done sacrifice. So stop whining if the graphics don't look up to your standards but you can't say that they are ugly. I mean personally these graphics are better than some graphics that are 360 games out on shelves.

IF YOU THINK THE FINISHED GAME WILL LOOK NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT FROM THESE SHOTS, YOU'RE IN FOR A MAJOR LETDOWN. THEY HAD TO SACRIFICE FRAME SPEED, JUST TO MAKE AN IMPROVEMENT........ON A CONSOLE THAT'S BOASTING "UP TO 120 FPS, AT 1080 RESOLUTION............AND 4D!".

Let's see Call of Duty 2 was a launch title and Gears of War is a second generation game, hhhmmm that makes a huge diffrence doesn't it?

Also Insomniac has been working on this game for only seven months and so far it looks really promising and has been getting great media attention.

Call of Duty 2 was also a PC port, and the game's max settings can run on PCs far less powerful than the 360.

1.) COD2 ISN'T A 'PS3' GAME; MY WHOLE POINT IS THIS GAME FAILS, COMPARED TO MOST OTHER 'PS3' GAMES........PARTICULARLY CONSIDERING ALL THE "HYPE".

2.) ACCORDING TO 'SONY', AND EVERY 'SONY' FANBOY/GIRL, THE 'PS3' IS A "SUPERCOMPUTER", CAPABLE OF MINDBLOWING GRAPHICS, LIKE WE'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE. IF THAT'S THE CASE, EVEN LAUNCH TITLES SHOULD BE
BETTER THAN ALL '360' OR 'PC' GAMES, BY DEFAULT.

3.) IF YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THIS GAME HAS ONLY BEEN IN DEVELOPMENT FOR "7 MONTHS", YOU'RE KIDDING YOURSELF. IF THAT'S THE CASE, IT WOULDN'T BE A 'PS3' LAUNCH TITLE.

4.) 'GEARS OF WAR' "GUTTED" EVERY '360' AND 'PS3' GAME WE'VE SEEN, THE FIRST DAY SCREENS OF IT WERE SHOWN (AS UE3 TEST SHOTS)........2 YEARS AGO. IF YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE A POINT, PLEASE......MAKE IT.

5.) "GREAT MEDIA ATTENTION" USUALLY = HYPE, FED BY LOTS OF $$$. 'SONY' EXPLOITS THE MEDIA BETTER/WORSE THAN ANYBODY ELSE.
