Anyway, Erz, you're simply the best, better than all the rest.
You are like the Star Wars or Beatles of the Hype in that you have the crossover appeal.
Smart people love you, morons love you. Old people love you, the kids love you. Uptight traditionalists love you, and subversive, transgressive pervs and degenerates love you. Whites love you, and Blacks love you. The dudes want to be you and the chicks want your socks rolled up and jammed into their mouths. The deluded illogical Christians love you as do the deluded illogical Atheists and the groovy agnostics. We who are too cool for school find common ground with the Yaddle-F***ers in loving you.

BTW, I looked it up and for the 3rd Anniversary, gift-wise you're supposed to give Leather or Glass. I vetoed all the leather+glass jokes though.

When I didn't shave for my vacation, I discovered for the first time, white/gray hairs in my beard. Some people are upset by this, but I thought it was cool.

In a similar way, like all the oldbies I loathed when I joined because they'd only talk about how much cooler the Hype was a couple years ago and how criminal it was that the n00bs were unaware of the proud heritage of these now unknown posters, like Masteryoda and S.I.G. and crap.....we've morphed from Hype Megastar spitfires into legends, and the youth always turn their backs on the heroes from the past.

But I think it's cool, like dying and going to Valhalla a hero, or magically turning into a colossal statue, not the same person, a different world, but now monumental, for the ages.



But yeah, you know in my Hypeiversary thread there were 80 or 90 thanks.
Now, I think I'd just say, "Yo, 3 years. I'd like to thank everyone on:" and then put a link to The Site That Must Not Be Named, if you could post links.

It's been 3 years to the day that I first signed up to ridicule posters who were supporting Catwoman in the DC Movies Forum.

My 1st Anniversary (before the dark times), I went on to thank like 50-75 posters who made posting here fun and laugh worthy. But mostly a place to post when I wasn't busy at work. :heart:

My 2nd Anniversary, I listed some of the threads that were tivo worthy which I'm sure a lot of you aren't familiar with because it was before your time.


Now on this my 3rd Anniversary, and I look around and I'm not familiar with most of you.

Some of you know I know, some of you I'm meeting for the first time.

I think we should take this opportunity for you posters who I'm not familiar with, to introduce and tell me something about yourself.

So this thread isn't just for well wishers but for you who may have not been comfortable talking to me directly to say hi and stroke my ego. And remember you have only one chance to make a first impression.
