Revenge

Declan's death was a surprise. He doesn't have much to do though.

I don't see Jack immediately forgiving Emily for lying to him all this time. There's bound to be some estrangement for a while.

Hopefully the blood on Daniel's shirt is just from the fight and he didn't actually shoot Aiden.

Anyone think maybe Charlotte will get it on with that other girl next season and they'll raise the baby together as suggested now that Declan is out of the picture?

Doubtful, IMO. Charlotte's goodbye to her seemed pretty final, in that she seemed to believe Declan over her, which was the truth, and while Charlotte can be kinda childish at times, I doubt she'd run off with a girl that the father of her child hated at the time of his death.

I liked the finale. Finally Jack knows!

I'm curious about Takada's true intentions that Aidan mentioned.

As far as Nolan and the police; it looked pretty obvious that Padma made that video under duress.

I liked the finale I just didn't like that they killed off Declan. It was such an unnecessary death and it really wasn't as impactful as, say, Jack's would've been.

Kill a character with great potential for future stories for the sake of impact, while keeping around a character that would really be dead weight? Pass. Killing Declan brings Jack into the fold and pretty much eliminates the private little island in the storytelling that is The Stowaway.

Yeah. I understand that. I think what I'm more bugged by was the execution. Within the episode itself, it just felt... random to me.

I'm so glad Emily finally told someone who's been in the dark...I was about to lose it. The show needs to start bringing it now...can't afford to dawdle anymore...angry that I didn't see Emily do any swordplay; I could've sworn I saw her wielding a katana in a preview...

She picked one up when examining Takeda's body. Technically she did wield it.

Ashley Madekwe Departing ABC’s ‘Revenge’
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

EXCLUSIVE: Ashley Davenport is done scheming on ABC’s Revenge. British actress Ashley Madekwe will not return to the soapy ABC drama next season. Her option was not picked up due to what I hear were storyline reasons. Madekwe has been on Revenge since the pilot but her character went through metamorphoses. Ashley Davenport was first introduced as Victoria Grason’s (Madeleine Stowe) event planner and a friend to Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) who brought her into the Grayson family. She fell for the diabolical Tyler (Ashton Holmes) and eventually managed to bed both Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) and his son Daniel (Joshua Bowman). By the end of Season 1, Ashley’s storyline played out but the producers found a way to bring her back in a new role as Conrad’s assistant and then PR for his political campaign. With Conrad winning the election in the second season finale, that story arc too came to a natural conclusion. Madekwe is one of two regulars to depart Revenge heading into Season 3, along with Connor Paolo, whose character Declan Porter died in the season finale. Revenge also will be with a new showrunner in Season 3, with Sunil Nayar recently replacing creator Mike Kelley.

Eh. No big loss. I think her endgame could've been interesting, but I doubt Ashley would've had much to offer before that. Just trimming the fat.

Oh Ashley. I was waiting for her breakout episode but it never happened!

Well I did find her rather annoying. She didn't really have much to do either. I thought they might use her to continue to help Jack, but I guess since he'll be in the inner circle they won't go that route. I wonder how they'll explain her sudden absence if she's not even returning. At least an episode with Conrad firing her or something would've been nice. If they knew she wasn't returning maybe she should also have died in that explosion along with Declan.

How much longer can this show actually go? It seems like everyone (except the Graysons) was extremely easy to bring down, but the Grayson revenge will be stretched out forever. I like the show, but wonder if it would've worked better as a one season thing like Reunion was meant to be. It just seemed like they added way too much stuff in the second season. Like every year, are we going to find out about another brother/sister/son/daughter/mother/father/mentor/boyfriend?

They should make the next season the last one. Emily needs to get her revenge. If they wanted it to be just a soap, they shouldn't have called it revenge but just the Hamptons.

The count of Monte Cristo's revenge plot took a couple years to put into motion. As they say revenge is a dish best served cold.

But we didn't spend 2 years watching it and waiting for it to come to fruition.

Kind of disappointed that they are getting rid of her since I was hoping they would do something good with her.

Apparently she'll still be appearing in the first episode of the season. I'm guessing she's either killed or she finds herself on the wrong side of Emily's revengenda and is taken out of the picture.

Maybe the quick way for her to die is that Jack tries to shoot Conrad (carrying on from the cliffhanger), but Emily pushes the gun aside and he hits Ashley instead.

But maybe she's thinking more of a death at the end of the episode instead of in the first few minutes.

I don't think they're going to kick things off by having Jack and Emily be responsible for the death of someone who is (somewhat) innocent.

Wonder how long we have to wait before casting news for Victoria's son rolls in.

Really liking this casting! Hartley is a pretty good actor who needs a good role to show his skills that goes beyond Smallville.

Funny, I was actually thinking Welling could be a suitable candidate. Looks-wise, I could totally buy him as Stowe's son.

But I've got no complaints about this, either.

They've Already Got Hartley At A Table Read

Damn, that's quick...
