If Victoria finds out David Clarke is alive and wants to get back with him, I can't imagine he'll be too receptive if he finds out that Victoria is out for revenge on Emily.

Another reason I don't like Victoria as the revenger is that it means she will be the one who is plotting everything now and in the know, and Emily and her friends will be the ones getting tricked and duped. Even though Emily's actions have often been questionable, she has always, without doubt, been portrayed as the heroine of this series, while Victoria has always been the villainess. Will people really want to see the villainess frequently gaining the upper hand over the heroine and actually cheering her on, if the story is now told from her point of view?

If they want to go for an even bigger twist, they can have it that Nolan knew that David was alive all along, seeing as he was the one who first contacted her when she was in juvie…...

Well my sis had pointed out to me that when Nolan first met with Amanda, he referred to her father in the present not past tense...that could be a purposeful hint that Nolan could possibly know and/or have been working all along on the side with her dear 'ole dad.

Finally was able to catch up on Revenge and watched the Season Finale and all I can say is wow.

I can't believe David is alive that is IDK where this show is going with that but that will be interesting to touch on in Season 4.

Conrad is Dead or is he? IDK but IMO he always seemed like a Guilty Pleasure for me one of those type of villains you love to hate on this TV show.

Victoria in a Insane Asylum or Psyche ward Interesting.

Overall a good Season Finale it will be interesting to see where they go from here

The showrunner wouldn't give a definitive yes or no, but personally, I feel like he has to be. The showrunner used the example of Victoria's plane blowing up in the finale of S1, but it's not as if we saw her sitting on the plane at the moment it blew up. This time, we've got a stab wound to the gut, a substantial amount of bloodloss, and he's staring dead-eyed at the sky on an abandoned road. If he's not dead yet, he should be well on his way.

Revenge is adding a familiar face to its full-time cast, and, if you have yet to cue up the Season 3 finale on your DVR, you should head to another corner of TVLine now.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that James Tupper — whose presumed-dead character, David Clarke, turned up alive, well and wielding a knife in last month’s closer — will return in Season 4 as a full-fledged series regular.

Tupper has recurred throughout Revenge‘s three-year run, but his appearances have been confined to flashbacks (on account of his alter ego being dead and all). David’s surprising resurrection in the final moments of Season 3 — and his now-confirmed return in Season 4 — sets the stage for killer reunions with daughter Emily and ex-love Victoria.

“Victoria and Emily are both going to have to reckon with what they’ve done in his name over the last 20 years, and then they’ll have to reckon with, “Well, who is this man?” show runner Sunil Nayar recently teased to TVLine. “It’s fun because, for the first time, the audience knows something that none of the people on the show do. The audience knows what he did to Conrad, they know what a raw act of vengeance it was. So the David that’s eventually going to come back to town isn’t going to be the David that the people in the Hamptons know, but the viewers have seen him and know what he’s capable of. That’s a fun dynamic we’ve never gotten to play with before.”

Tupper recently completed an arc on ABC’s rookie drama Resurrection.

Ausiello: I am not a violent person, Jacob, but I’m about to smack you upside the head with a doozy of a Revenge scoop: Emily’s getting a major new love interest this fall. Details are sparse, but I hear the recurring character will be sexy (duh), charming (double duh) and full of secrets (I made that last one up, but, um, triple duh). Jack/Emily ‘shippers shouldn’t throw in the towel though. Revenge exec producer Aaron Harberts hinted to Variety.com that the bond between the star-crossed lovers will likely intensify in the wake of David’s resurrection. “There’s really only one character on the show who knows the relationship between David Clarke and the girl who was Amanda Clarke, and that’s Jack Porter,” he said. “In a year of Emily asking herself, ‘Who is Amanda Clarke? How do I get back to that?’ Jack’s going to play such a huge component in that.” Harberts also revealed that Season 4 will represent a major shift for the drama. “So much of the show was built on the past, but with Conrad being taken down and with [flight] 197 being put to bed, what we’re most excited about is now the show can start living and breathing in the present.” Speaking of Revenge, did you see this?!

Revenge Scoop: Brian Hallisay Heads to the Hamptons – as Emily's New Lover?

The Hamptons is getting a Privileged new resident.

Brian Hallisay is joining Revenge‘s upcoming fourth season in the recurring role of Ben, a new friend of Jack’s and a local cop. Fun-loving and easy going, he’s drawn to Jack’s world and especially to the people in it (including, presumably, Emily).

Hallisay is coming off a two-season stint on Lifetime’s The Client List, where he met his now-wife Jennifer Love Hewitt. Prior to that, he did an arc on Ringer and was a regular on (the aforementioned) Privileged. He’s currently recurring on Mistresses as, coincidentally, a character named Ben.

He’ll first appear in Revenge‘s Season 4 premiere on Sunday Sept. 28 at 10/9c.

Scoop: Revenge Casts S.H.I.E.L.D. Siren in Recurring Season 4 Role

Agents of SH.I.E.L.D.‘s Asgardian temptress will next be working her wiles on ABC’s Revenge.

TVLine has learned that Sochi-raised Elena Satine has been cast in the recurring role of Louise, the “black sheep” daughter of a wealthy Southern family. Louise is described as “slightly unhinged,” though she has only the best of intentions (within the context of her own warped logic).

Further details on her storyline are under wraps, but I can tell you that she does meet one of the major characters under “interesting” circumstances.

In addition to her turn as S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Lorelei, Satine’s previous TV credits include a run on Magic City, NCIS and Smallville (as Aquaman’s wife Mera).

Revenge Season 4 premieres Sunday, Sept. 28 at 10/9c.

Revenge Admits 'Lisa Simpson' as Victoria's Season 4

When Revenge returns for its fourth season next month, Victoria Grayson will find herself rubbing elbows with a certain spiky-haired saxophonist — sort of.

Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa on The Simpsons, will guest-star on Revenge‘s season premiere, TVLine has learned exclusively. Yeardley will play Phyllis, a fellow patient at the mental institution where Victoria was admitted (against her will) in the Season 3 finale.

Also joining in Season 4 is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Elena Satine, who will recur as the “black sheep” daughter of a wealthy southern family. Additionally, James Tupper (aka the not-so-dead David Clarke) is being upgraded to series regular.

Revenge returns Sunday, Sept. 28, at 10/9c.

Victoria Grayson will wrangle herself a surprising new ally when Revenge kicks off its fourth season next month.

Nestor Serrano (Graceland) has been tapped to recur as Edward Alvarez, a “commanding and perceptive police chief” who’s (surprisingly) in Victoria’s corner, TVLine has learned exclusively.

“We’re just starting to explore his character right now,” executive producer Sunil Nayar tells us. “He’s a friend of Victoria’s on the force who really has her back at a time when she needs someone to have her back. We’re not sure exactly where we’re headed with the character, but we like the idea of her having an ally in a position of an authority.”

In addition to Graceland, Serrano’s TV credits also include recurring roles on Blue Bloods, Dexter and 90210.

Revenge returns Sunday, Sept, 28, at 10/9c on ABC.

Ausiello: You’re right about one thing, Kate: Emily’s not ready to jump into a new relationship. But that doesn’t mean sparks won’t fly between Emily and Hallisay’s Ben. “In the scenes they’ve had together so far, they’ve had great energy,” showrunner Sunil Nayar says. “But we want to take our time with these things; Emily has so much she’s already dealing with, we don’t want to be casual about the next person she chooses to give her heart to. That said, there’s definitely an energy between them that we’re enjoying. We didn’t bring him on to be Emily’s love interest, but by the same token, we didn’t not bring him on for that.”

So it looks like Revenge will be told from Victoria's point of view now, and she is the one seeking vengeance and doing all the plots?

But then, if this gets to another season, the narration will switch back to Emily saying "My name is Emily Thorne. For the first 3 years I was taking revenge on the Graysons for all they did to me and my family. Then for the next year, Victoria Grayson took revenge on me for my actions against her. And now I'm taking revenge against her for her revenge."

Then in Season 6, it will switch back to Victoria, who will be getting revenge for Emily's revenge against Victoria's revenge against Emily's initial revenge.
