Marvel Studios have chosen visual effects house Rhythm & Hues to work on the Incredible Hulk. Their other credits include Superman Returns and and they are also currently working on the upcoming films "Evan Almighty" and "Golden Compass"

great... annouce the god damn cast already!!!

Well, the effects in SR are superb, and i know they did some work on Narnia that had some good effects in as well. BUT, i dont see why they didnt stick with ILM, as they must still have the model from the 1st movie.

I agree. Judging by the recently released pics of ILM's work on Transformers, they should have stuck with them.

But I have no problem with R&H working on TIH. They did a good job on SR. I'm patiently waiting for some damn news though. We get alot more regarding Ironman and I would have sworn that the production started later than TIH's.

they outsource stuff to india i know a couple of folks who worked on Narnia but couldnt tell me anything new about superman

Agreed, the effects in Transformers look nothing short of stunning.

Hey guys R&H have some AWESOME WORK!! check out the site, concepts etc.. They Did Superman Returns, Garfield (with a skeleton like HULK in first move) etc.. Some really really good stuff, I'm excited!

I just wonder if they start from scratch or get renderings from ILM??? Either way I'm very excited to see what they do! Narnia was amazing!

You would think so, wouldn't you? This is supposed to open June of next year, and you're telling me that don't have anybody cast yet? This movie is starting to smell of X-Men 3, a real rush job to meet the announced opening date by whatever means necessary. Quality be damned. Of course I hope I'm wrong.

ok i thought that tehy only did joer-el. and if this is true then they should stop mentioning superman so that people wont think that they made teh flying effects.

That's nice.I hope we get more information about their work soon.

:hulk:

I would imagine that the work done on the first movie will be able to be used here. ANything else would seem like a waste and could only increase expenses further which no producer wants to do.

Maybe Rhythm & Hues are just cheaper to work with than ILM so thats why Marvel chose to use them this time around or Marvel just had a bad relationship working with ILM. ILM have always done great work but they aren't the only visual effects artists around anymore so whoever Marvel got to work on the new Hulk movie for whatever reason, as long as they do a great job is all that matters.

Yeah, I think Rhythm & Hues will do ok. They do good work (when they're given the chance). It would have been better if ILM would have come back (especially now that they've gotten their s**t together), but whatyagonnado.

Rhythm & Hues, huh? I would of perfered ILM or Weta or CFC Framestore, but lets hope they pull it off, I have not been that impressed with their body of work.

I wish they'd stuck with ILM,still R&H's work on Aslan was pretty good so hopefully they will do a good job with hulk.

R&H is a great company. I've had a chance to visit the studio when they worked on the Lion, Witch & The Warddrobe. Amazing ....is what I was left saying.

I have confidence in them doing something similar if not better.

sounds good, they work with environments well.this should be great.

R&H have proven themselves. i'm happy they're on board for this movie
