Richie Rich was a pretty good movie

Came on TBS last night...yes, the one with Macaulay Culkin. I hadn't seen it since about 1994 when it first came out though...I didn't recall it being that intense violence wise though. And it didn't come off cheesy like other cartoon/comics turned live action, shockingly.

Because of it's crappy story, which doesn't have sense to be even made into the movie. Worse, it's cast just made me sick watching the whole film. I haven't seen anything new or original in it, it just reminded me some kind of 50s-60s cartoon series about good rich little boy easily solving all his problems, I even felt overused "Dues Ex Machine" used to connect all events of storylines and help main characters in sorting out their issues winning over forces of antagonism!

Ummmm its a kids film they dont have to have a story line just look cool, and its a 50s cartoon anyway so....

Lighten up i dont think it was out gunning for an oscar or anything
