I don't want to go tit for tat, writes two paragraphs. Makes sense.

There are less reasons for optimism then you hint at. But with Blue MAGA, you'd think Biden's up 20 in the polls. Watching all this is like watching a Twilight Zone episode, and if Biden loses, I know who's going to be blamed. And it won't be our fault.

Yeah, because I was trying to zoom out, clarify my point of view as best as I possibly can, rather than going in circles forever about the nitty gritty of what is the best campaign strategy and who will win more independent voters, etc. You know, agree to disagree. I’m not going to change your mind and I’m not trying to. But I was trying to at least help you understand where I’m coming from, because I do understand where you’re coming from. Maybe that’s too far of a reach in these crazy times. And I’m not talking like he’s up 20 points. I’m talking like it’s a close election no matter who is on the ballot. Which is unfortunately always going to be the case because of how deeply divided (and brainwashed) much of the country is. You think I’m not terrified of Biden losing? I sure am. But being that I am just one guy who has zero control over whether the President runs for reelection or not, I gotta move through the fear rather than just throw my hands up and give into it. And that is something I feel is important on a personal, basic life level as much as I do a political level.

It might still rouse a person who had been too disgusted to vote, but was more right leaning to go vote after all. Plus is does seem that historically things like this can boost a person's rating even if they're inherently evil.

But, now isn’t the time for a boy scout approach to things which Biden is doing.

Now is the time for the cynic and the cold hearted to meet them head on. That you aren’t that is a good thing and you should count yourself lucky for that.

Over Trump’s time in office, I shifted from following Professor Xavier’s approach to stating that Magneto is right. Watching my people repeatedly get attacked and killed over four years when Trump kept on inciting his devotees changed and hardened me.

They want to talk about violence, we have a lot more receipts of all of the Trump supporters’ terrorist attacks over Trump’s time in office. The tables can be turned.
