Past the 0.5 recount threshold.
And @mclay18 didn't have to go underground for 2 days.Well goddamn Georgia.
Despite the insurrection and a disgrace of our country today, victory was achieved. I'm very happy to be proven wrong. Now the Democrats can actually get stuff done. There's a real shot here.
I also note that the more progressive of the two Dem candidates won his election by twice the margin of his more centrist, establishment Dem colleague... Coincidence I think not!
Today was a bittersweet day. We flipped the Senate amidst a failed coup enabled by Trump's rhetoric and hangers-on.
After today, I don't think Joe Manchin will have a problem eliminating the filibuster.

Ossoff had also recently lost an election.
I believe they both won because Trump wasn't on the ballot and was more worried about himself than maintaining party control of the senate. Good. I'll take it.
Yes he will.
Plus he was obsessed with why he had lost Georgia and antagonizing voters and elected officials. He was FIRING up mad Democratic voters and voters who sat out 11/3 because they thought Trump would win the state.
I think Warnock will probably win a full term in 2022.
Of course not, PA State House just proved you could throw a tantrum and not seat a duly elected official over a non-concession.It's currently just above 41K or 1% with just about everything counted. Each 4K votes count for about .1% of the vote. Perdue could get every outstanding vote (not gonna happen and Ossoff's lead will in all likelihood grow) and still not win.
Has he conceded yet?
Any Georgians, or people who know more than I do, know when GA will certify the votes?Of course not, PA State House just proved you could throw a tantrum and not seat a duly elected official over a non-concession.
State board has 10 days (1/15), SoS has up to a week thereafter (1/22)Any Georgians, or people who know more than I do, know when GA will certify the votes?
EDIT: Sounds like it will be a week or two.
Yeah. I looked that up, but they seem to think it'll be a little earlier than that.State board has 10 days (1/15), SoS has up to a week thereafter (1/22)
