OK, so my friend with the MPAA said they already had the trailer for classification.

For what he heard, the trailer will surely be attached with Assassin Creed. For other movies he don't know.

had he tell something about the Lengh ?

More info from my friend:
He's seen the red band trailer again and the beginning starts with some body horror...and has a lot of scenes shot to look like Alien. Of course it ends with the couple and the xenomorph.

Thanks for posting all that info it helps me lower my expectations and that's good it's better to be surprised in a good way than disappointed

All of these screening comments have me extremely hyped for this trailer.

Damn, Fox prepared some dynamite R-rated stuff for the next year. Logan and this. It's gonna be my first (proper?) Alien movie, that I'm gonna watch in a theater.

Luckily I had the chance earlier this year to do a double feature of Alien and Aliens at my local Alamo Drafthouse, otherwise I wouldn't have the luxury of saying I've seen a good Alien film at the theater.

I really do hope Covenant can at least sit up next to the first two films as a possible equal.

I was lucky to get to see them all in theaters. Of course with Alien and Aliens it was a double feature at a local theater when I was in college. Great experience. But I did see Alien 3 when I was like 8 years old, my buddy and I paid to go see Encino Man and snuck into Alien 3. Never got caught. Then I saw Alien Resurrection on opening night, and all the AvP’s and Prometheus. So I’ve been lucky enough to experience them all on the big screen.

Well, I had seen both AVP films, and Prometheus in theaters however, the only two that felt really special seeing at the cinema were the first two particularly because Alien came out before I was born and I was only 3 when Aliens came out. The energy in the room was through the roof.

Sadly we don't have this kind of practice here. They never show freshly remastered films on big screen. I didn't watch AvP and Prometheus in a theater and I don't regret it.

This is showing my age a bit, but I was actually lucky enough to have seen all the ALIEN films in the theater during their original theatrical runs. I was only a few years old when the original film came out, but with my dad being a movie geek, I understood from the get go that it was all fake and I didn't scare easily. Needleas to say, I ate it all up. He saw everything by himself first to see if it was something he thought I could handle... if it was, I got to go(please don't think he was totally irresponsible and took me to see just anything... there were many, many films that I wanted to see, but that he knew were totally inappropriate and would not take me to), though with a very specific set of rules in place in regard to my behavior at the theater(if I broke those rules, I knew the punishment would be no more trips to the theater to see things my friends weren't yet allowed to).

Another one I got to see during its original run was Blade Runner. My dad and I went though a rather rough antagonistic patch when I got a bit older, but we long ago made peace with each other. I owe my love of film to him and to this day, he's still my main moviegoing companion.

Wish there would be theaters around the world who would screen old movies on bargain price. I am pretty sure I would love to pay to watch and experience countless movies I didnt on big screens. Specially those from later 70's, 80's and early 90's. Alien and Aliens, Predator, Terminator 1 and 2, Star Wars, Blade Runner, etc. It's one thing watch them at home on TV but it's another to watch them in cinema on big screen.

Well, there are special events going on more frequently. I know Fathom Events does it's deal with Turner Classic Movies. But Flashback Cinema seems to have really taken hold at my theater. I saw some classics this year.

Well maybe in America. It will likely pass couple years or decade(s) until we get something similar in Europe.

That's cool, yeah my dad and I would go to films all the time. I was 7 when he took me to see Terminator 2, (never told mom) and it's always a good fun thing to do. With Alien 3 I remember it was opening day and how we sat next to this couple that looked like hardcore biker. My friend being fearless asked them if they could act like we are their kids if someone came snooping around. Haha they said yes and we watched Alien 3. I remember it scared the crap out of me back then.

On the Covenant front, glad to hear they are going back to the horror roots.

Been reading The Playlist's Tweets in my timeline today. Trailer sounds amazing.

Apparently the cover of Space Oddity is used in the trailer. Very cool choice

McBride has proven to be awesome in dramas. I just can't separate Franco from his public persona now. It's hard to take him seriously even though at one point, he could've excelled with more dramas. He's a good looking dude who could be the leading man type.

Not to say he's struggling with money and success or anything, but his career path most certainly comes with some costs (creatively).
