Fox made these movies distributed them etcetera shows that they supported Scott vision. And Scott vision they are not in continuity
Finally got around to seeing this and it was just as bad as Prometheus.
My question is, if the Aliens as we know them were created in the future, how then did the Predators in AVP bring them to Earth in the past, as shown when they bring them to the Inca/Aztec like civilizations to battle them....?
Yep, youve pretty much got to throw everything out Ridley Scott wasnt involved in.
And they did the equivalent twice. I couldn't believe it, holy ****.The shower scene was a major red flag to me when they put in the trailer. It's lowbrow, even for a movie like this.
Now David is cutting his hair and teaching himself how to play the flute... what am I watching?

There is a lot of innuendo there, I was legitimately saying "what" out loud multiple times, while my brother was just laughing his ass off. I have never seen a scene so dedicated to a *********ion joke.
I completely agree Prometheus is for the most part, rather pretty. But Covenant? The reduced budget is all over that film. It has some decent shots late with the alien, but outside of that it comes off very small, with an obviously low budget, without much in terms of creativity to energy to really change that.If one was made, I would watch it. I love the series. But, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant were both visually stunning, but had super dumb characters and plot points (outside of David...I liked him in both films).
It's like a ****ing Austin Powers routine!
I'm still annoyed they cheated me out of the "Shaw and David's Head's Adventures in Space!" movie that the ending of Prometheus promised me.
