Well if you dont know about the ring of death you should. It happens when you turn on the Xbox 360 system, 3 red flashing light turn on in the place of for green lights. It makes your system useless. You cant play a game or get on xbox live. You could send it in for repairs or get a new console. You could fix it yourself with these steps.

1st
Turn it off and unplug it
2nd
remove the hard drive
3rd
Plug it up
4th
turn it on without a hardrive
5th
do the initial setup
6th
turn it off and plug it in

Then if it still is broken call Xbox support.

Any other ways that may help the problem are welcome to be posted.
If you have had this problem please tell what you did to fix it.

My Xbox live Gamertag is Warmachine077 and do not send me hate mail or spam me.

This forum is open to talk about and suggestion on what to do when this happens.

pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees, farenheit...wrap your xbox in a blanket...cook for 10 minutes, move to freezer to cool...

Just start firing a hand-gun into your 360. Actually, run it over, shove it up a deer's ass and then run over the deer, and then shoot it. Do ANYTHING but follow the Warranty Plan.

By the way the instructions i provided are what xbox recomends you do before you send it in for reapair.

Wrap the power mammoth in duct tape and throw it into a bucket of water.

Note:Please don't do that

somebody stupid out there will actually do it :(

Yeah-As Ive said again and again-It happens. This is a "General" Hardware failure. Most likely the outlet its plugged in either had a surge ,or the cord from the power "box" came loose.

Note1:- This isnt always the case-So check how hot your system is.Unplug the cord from the console-Is that metal part blazing?Wait 15-to-20 minutes before rebooting as directed

Note2-Not always do you have to go through the initial setup again-Once it boots without the harddrive-Try slapping the harddrive in there before it begins trying to load the profile.

I thought the hardware failure was the "you're ****ed no matter what" Red light situation. Thats what I had.

Oooh, & sprinkle cheese on it. Mmmm...goooodd!

What the hell did the deer do to deserve that?

Ok so the instructions i gave are what Xbox would tell you to do over the phone not just some made up ones.
