Rob Zombie to resurrect The Munsters!

Gonna have to hold on to a bit of my skepticism until Deadline or the Hollywood Reporter chime in.

Fair, but they were the first to break on the story and where it was shooting. Things change of course.

My curiosity/bordering on interest in this is building.

Fingers crossed this is more of a comedy and not like Rob's usual horror material.

I think it has potential to be like an Eli Roth House With a Clock In Its Walls sort of thing. The harder edges of Zombie will be leveled out by the material. I'm curious though. Say what you want about Zombie, but the guy's not short of ideas. Zombie at least seems passionate about it, so maybe he can breathe some new life into this and make it its own thing.

THAT I'd be ok with!

I don’t know if I want it being too lighthearted, because that would be a weird thing to hire Zombie for, but I also don’t want him going full-tilt Rob Zombie on it.

I'm sure he's aware and will figure something out. But going different worked for Eli Roth and Zombie's last few movies have tanked so he NEEDS something different and light-hearted could work.

I never really saw anything in the original Munsters TV show. I preferred the Addams Family.

I hate when they overshare on social media. Just make the movie and let us see the details for ourselves when it’s ready.

Too bad they were on different networks at the time of airing because I would have loved to have seen an Addams Family/Munsters crossover.

I knew Butch Patrick when he was much younger. He wasn't a very approachable person for whatever reason. Maybe because he got hassled a lot or maybe being a child star went to his head or maybe because I was younger and he didn't have time for me or maybe I was just a pain in the ass. His sister, Michele Lilley, was ultra sweet (and very pretty). I think she does some sort of jewelry thing.

not gonna lie, I am really looking forward to this one

I love The Munsters show. Grandpa and Herman were the best. I wish it wasn't Rob Zombie directing it. I've only liked one of his movies Devils rejects.
