Rob Zombie to resurrect The Munsters!

I'm so torn, curious, optimistic, worried, excited........... So many feelings about this.

Could this be Zombies PG-13 breakout? I dont even know what to expect nor do I even know what exactly I want from this lol.

Emotions runnin wild.

It all depends on how viable of an IP The Munsters still is because it's doubtful this'll have a lot of star power involved, especially if Zombie's wife is playing Lily.

^tho I never understood how a frankenstein's monster an a vampiress made a werewolf... happy belated birthday, indeed

It’s all pretty simple… a Frankenstein’s Monster would be made up from the pieces of several dead bodies. In this instance, Herman’s junk would, naturally, have come from a wolf man.

maybe he cant have kids so Eddie was adopted?

but, did they adopt him as werewolf or turn the kid they adopted into a werewolf so he can live forever with them without growing old

I hate when they overshare on social media. Just make the movie and let us see the details for ourselves when it’s ready.
Half of this thread is filled with assumptions of how Rob Zombie this movie could go wrong. I'm not going to begrudge him for sharing so much. I get the sense he is trying to shine a positive light on this project and showing us it's not going to be Devil's Rejects. Something endearing about his excitement and enthusiasm getting to work on something he loved as a kid. Hope he gets to do for The Munsters what the 90s movies did for the Addams Family and make something with horror/supernatural/macabre elements accessible to kids.

It does not sound like he's going to goth this up and is going for the more classic look.

Visual this is shaping up really nicely...i expected him to go more Rob Zombie on it, glad he didnt.
The Munsters doesnt need his white trash lunatic style he likes so much.
It makes this all the more exciting what he can do if he goes outside of his comfort zone.

This makes me very happy. And it's probably going to a comedy like the show and not a straight-up dark horror like most of Zombie's films are.

this could be like what Robert Rodriguez did do a bunch of R rated stuff but make a few that younger people could do so you never know this may be more in the lines of those kinds of lighter films.
