The "I'd buy that for a dollar" guy...I could see Jackson pulling that off. As a powerful TV mogul? I don't know that a silly version would work for this new adaption. If its a serious one, don't know if I'm going to take him seriously. We shall see.

ut yes the theme for the film is more of how humanity is lost and murphy becomes a machine. Which was more glossed over in original.

The loss and reclamation of his humanity seemed to be a massive part of the original.

I was talking more this film wants to show more on how robo was created and with that bit how murphy goes from man to machine. Which as I pointed out was glosed over in the start of the original film. Not about what you said.

Yeah, another one who have seen Snabba Cash, it's like the Swedish equivalent to the Pusher movies. On the whole the movie is alright but the three leads elevated it and it's definitely better than most movies released in Sweden nowadays. Kinnman's performance in that should definitely get people's attention. He looks to have another fantastic performance in the second movie from what I've seen in the trailers.

Yeah, it's "just" an ok movie, though I enjoyed it, but it's an impressive ensemble work. I havent seen the trailer for the new movie, thanks for the tip, I'll check it out, I'm interested!

Looks like it's giving us a bit of a look of the suit as well. I'm digging the aesthetics. :wow:

How am i suppose to be looking at this lol? Is his visor the red line part?

I think that it may be part of his leg or gun holster. I know what you're saying though. :funny:

Whatever part of the suit it is, I like the look they're going for.

I have a feeling it's going to look quite a bit like this concept art:

It almost looks like the side of his helmet.Pretty cool, thanks for posting.

Robocop is in my top 5 movies of all time, I can not see how they can possibly improve this movie apart from the FX and ED-209.

It looks like a more darker metallic rather than the silvery one we're used to for me (it could be the case that it's a close-up) but if that's the direction Padilha wants to go I wouldn't mind actually.

I'd dig that look

I hope we hear who's playing Anne Lewis soon. Most of all I hope that character wasn't omitted. Her chemistry with Murphy was one of the highlights although that mainly has to do with Welling and Allen just naturally clicking.

Whoever they pick I hope she can do the same with Kinnaman. I know Abbie Cornish was auditioning for a role but I think that was for his Robo's wife.

I love that look actually. I read the director said that they were gonna show his eyes. Guess that didn't work out?

We haven't seen his face yet so who knows?

I think what we're looking at is either a part of his gun holster or his legs.

Gary Oldman has already been cast as his scientist-creator and Samuel L. Jackson is playing a media mogul.

Someone wanna explain? What's a media mogul?
