Thanks, Phig!

Ace,

Thank you! No, I don't have any Deadpool pics.....yet. I've been so swamped doing stuff at work and around the house, that my coloring is coming in short spurts. I'm going to have to fix that because I'm getting ready to start on another book on top of the Fallen Justice book I'm already working on. Look for an Avengers pic coming from me in the pseudo-near future though, as I've gotten my hands on a Clayton Henry piece that I'm in the process of flatting right now.

I picked up some more work grayscaling a book called Wannabez. It's going to be a really fun read, so pick it up when it comes out.

Here's a couple more pieces I did for Fallen Justice. I've been trying to work harder at just laying down the colors I want rather than using the settings to do the work for me. What do you guys think?

Well, I got some good feedback about the cover, and it pretty much echoed what I was having problems with about it, so I've reworked some portions of it and I think I'm calling it done at this point.

And while I'm at it, here is an alternate cover for issue #6.

Here's a couple of real quick promo pieces that I finished up in between fighting off the flu.

I've had this in my stash for a couple of years now, but never felt ambitious (or skilled) enough to tackle it. I figured with some extra time off from my day job for the holidays, that now would be a good time to see what I could do with it. C&C's would certainly be appreciated.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I had this drawing commissioned for my wife's birthday. I ended up staying up all night to get the colors done in time, but it's totally worth it for how much she's going to love this.

Happy Birthday, honey!!!!

Along with the pages for issue #6 of Fallen Justice, Cary sent me some promo stuff to work on as well. I'll post some more of them when I get them finished up. I'm already noticing a problem with the glow around Prometheus' arm. I'm thinking that happened when I converted to CMYK. I'll fix that and repost, but in the mean time, I'd love to hear what you have to say about anything else.

Truly vivid coloring, Ross. Great stuff. :word:

Thanks! I'll be throwing up some more promos very soon.

I'm looking forward to an Avengers one

Well, I do have a Clayton Henry piece I've been meaning to get to......hmmm......

Okay, I FINALLY got everything situated with my new computer and was able to update these a little bit.

I dropped the sat level on the tail end of the jacket in the first pic and brought out some more light in his arms and shoulders to help break that up a little bit. Also added a whiter highlight to the underside rimlight to help him pop out even more.

I added some rimlight to Justice Theta.

I fixed the glow in the Prometheus pic, and played with my color holds on the background rocks so that it didn't look so plain.

I'm moving on to some new ones this evening, so hopefully I'll have a couple more to be able to post tomorrow.

...or the day after tomorrow.......

Here is another promo piece. This one is Dynagirl. Justice Theta's woman and future star of her own ongoing series.

Yeah about that second one....

Harold and I got our wires crossed on a couple of the characters. Too late for the pencils and inks, but never too late for color! Oops!
