I'm talking the Paul Walker flick from a few years ago...

Well I got this in a 2 pack with Domino last x-mas (really wanted Domino and my ex couldn't find it ANYWHERE alone so she grabbed this)

Finally got around to watching this the other night and holy crap....what a p.o.s.!!!!

This movie blew hard. Whoever said that Cameron Bright kid could act needs to be punched in the teeth. Has this kid done ANYTHING other then stand there with his eyes wide open?

And the fact that every adult he met was evil..made me think this was the r rated version of "Babys Day Out".

This movie was terrible.

I thought it was rubbish. Paul Walker sucks. Vera Farmiga was hot in it, at least.

THis is my take on this flick.

It's so stupid that it's a masterpiece. It's a weird paradox of a movie, and it has cult classic status written all over it.

-- It's so bad, it's good.
-- It's so bad it's gone past good and gone back to bad again.

That's what I'm reminded of. I agree with the second person.

Paul Walker is a horribly failed version of keanu reeves

People liked it? lmfao ...wow..umm....ok lol...

What about the "twist ending" and the multiple endings? I dunno I just kept watching it thinking "No way..no way...really?REALLY?"

This movie was awesome. A fantastically sleazey, frantic and stylish action film. Great, over the top characters(and actors) that make the most out of their screen time.

I can understand someone not liking it for the excessive violence and swearing, but it makes no sense for someone to like ... Domino. And then hate this movie, because they are extremely similar stylistically, except Domino is a far inferior film.

I couldnt finish this movie due to the stupidity of it. It just was bad. This comming from a guy who likes his violence.

Wow Rez I wouldn't expect this from you lol

Domino rocked all kinds of awesome..RS was just plain lame. Wayne Kramer dosen't seem to have his own voice as it came off as he was trying hard to be the next Scott bros/Luc Besson/Tarontino etc and that simply dosen't work.

I didn't have a problem with the violence and launguage it was the whole film in genreal from look to actors to script it was all around cheese.

I mean seriously...the kid from a broken home running the streets and EVERY adult he meets is a horrible person to reenforce the idea that he "can't trust any adults" was ******ed.

Also if I were Paul Walker I would have shot the kid who played my son because he was dumb. Straight up dumb.

"Oh I know my dad needs this gun or he wil be killed so I'll just hide it from him and NOT tell him. Thats a great idea!"

DUMB!!!

The best part was when the wife confronts the pedos. That whole stuff (minus Cameron Bright getting the pill bottle from the cabinet, knocking his head then reading the address) was just awesome and the only time in 2 hours and 2 minutes you actually cared about a character and fealt for them and had any emotion.

The ONLY Running Scared that was good starred Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines. :o

I never watched this newer one but I saw bits of Running Scared with Billy Crystal and it was pretty darn cool. I only saw bits of the two guys running and gunning their way through an apartment complex. Billy Crystal was pretty good in that flick.

i thought it was good, although the pedophiles scared me

What Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines do in their homes is their buisness.

You don't really strengthen your argument against Running Scared when you praise Domino in the same breath. You want to talk about scatterbrained, chaotic filmmaking, and a convoluted plot that stretches well beyond plausibility, look no further than Domino. Look no further than characters like Mo'Nique's, who takes a sick day from work to go on Jerry Springer to take pitch a multi-racial flow chart! Then gets mad when her boss fires her for it! Or how about the scene where Domino and her team get whacked out on mesculine, and their driver crashes their RV so horrifically, it cartwheels in midair about half a dozen times! And no one's injured! Then Tom Waits shows up to drive the team to vegas?!? HUH?!?!? Or how about Keira Knightley's boney ass firing two M16s at once like they were nothing but cap guns.

While I didn't mind the concept, taking a real-life person and placing them in a totally fabricated story, the execution was flat-out horrible.

Never seen it, but it has given me the oppertunity to increase my post count :)

To this day my friend and I say "Could you be dumber, Snake?" whenever we see Joe Pantoliano. :woot:

"I WANT MY ****ING GUN!"

I dug it, saw it in theaters, bought it on DVD.
Thomas Jane was actually going to play the lead instead of Walker. Imagine that? But, Walker gives his best performance he's ever going to do. They could have cut the last five minutes tho.

Dude I'm sorry but Domino was an awesome movie as only one of the Scott bros can do. I understand you might not like it but c'mon..you can't say it was worse then running scared lol

Isn't Hines dead? :csad:

Or IS he?!?.....DUN DUN DUNNNNN

My bother loves that stupid movie and has it on DVD, the 80's were a decade for white/black buddy cop movies.

was this that movie that had some crazy ass shadows during a pedophile scene?

And Vera's ass FTW

Running Scared is one of Paul Walker's better movies imo. I loved it.

(in robotic monotone voice) " JOHN WAYNE'S A FA GGIT...."
