Runtime confirmed by Fox: 92 minutes!

I'm hoping as well that it's at least 2 hrs. long....95 mins is just too darn short.
 
At this point......I doubt it.......we'll probably just get another number....
 
If matt(c) is right - and I guess he is - and they haven't finished the movie yet we now know that all runtimes mentioned before are bogus. Well this could still give us a 95 minutes movie but I've hope that we get a movie at least as long as the first one. If not we send the SHH mods to the Fox HQ to put all missing scenes back in the movie.

There is no way they can do this in under 2 hrs. Juist look what they did to X3.

Mind you, Frim Story's comments, I get the ipression that he is given little say over the final cut. Bastards.

They cut so damned much out of the first one too, and they didn't put nearly half of the scenes they removed in the deleted scenes. There are way more full scenes out ther.

Tim Story would be a good director if they let him do his thing.

Genius...pure genius...no wonder Doom became a tycoon executive in the first movie...those damn execs at fox got to him :)
 
89 min? hahah might as well make it a made for tv movie
 
Of course it's like X3 again, it's FOX! Ya know, the guys that seem to love cutting out all the vital scenes that would actually make the movie a bit better! :D:cmad:
 
I read somewhere that the film is supposed to be 2 hrs. This was about a month ago. Don't know if it's true, but a longer running time may be better but then again if the film drags, then 2hrs won't be good. Looking at fox's track record with these films the negative we hear always turns out to be true, while the positive is false.

I expect the 89-95 run time to be correct. I also believe that the film may have been 2hrs, but FOX has cut it up, because it's not that good, and they want to cram as many showings into one day to get their big opeining weekend. I still believe there was a showing in seattle and it didn't go well, so FOX is cutting it up. I hope i'm wrong, but with FOX it's highly probable.
 
Also heard that there is not as much screen time for the SS as it's being advirtised. FOX is going to piss a lot of poeple off, cause the Surfer is the draw. That's all i hear people talk about is the SS. The Surfer having not that much screen time would make sense for FOX to chop up the film to get in down to 89 mins to give the appearence of the Surfer having more screen time.
 
How many times do we have to shake to get an official runtime...

Exactly. Why else would I hate FOX so damn much? X2 is the only truly good superhero movie they spewed out, and that's because they left Singer alone!

Bingo bango on all fronts. They're pulling the same crap with the running time as X3 and they're pulling the same crap with SS as Venom. We're all pissed off about it, but we'll never do anything because we wanna see the movie.
 
I'm pretty sure it's 95 minutes and my source can't get any better but I made an assumption based on that persons response.

thanks FanFi......we appreciate that......apparently the 106 minutes that Matt said early on is correct. I hope that does not include trailers. If it doesn't, thats good enough for me.....

Yup, that would be good enough for me too. I really wish it was longer, but I know that it isn't going to happen. I wasn't expecting us to get two hours, certainly not any longer than that.
