In the manga [BLACKOUT]she dies stopping time to prevent the universe from ending then was reincarnated[/BLACKOUT].. I believe in the anime she just lived until the others popped back up.

There's a video that has surfaced on YouTube regarding the new English dub cast. Someone put forth the effort in making a compilation of sound clips from each voice actor. I wish I could post a link to the video, but there are some curse words from the sound samples. The curse words aren't bad, but I don't want to risk violating some of The Hype's rules. Just do a quick search on YouTube for the Viz Sailor Moon Dub Cast Reels, and you should find the video.

I'm not that big into anime (except for a handful of shows; I haven't watched a new anime aside from Sailor Moon Crystal since 2005 or something), so I wasn't familiar with most of this cast. I have to say, judging from the clips, I am very impressed!

Also, not gonna lie, I am fangirling like crazy for Sailor Jupiter's new voice actress. From the clips I just heard, she sounds like a perfect fit for Mako-Chan! Also, Amanda Celine Miller's story about how she got cast as Jupiter is really cool, from what I've read. She's been a lifelong Sailor Moon fangirl, and she tried out for any part for the heck of it, and she ended up being cast as one of her favorite characters. You go, girl!

Jennifer Cihi, the voice behind songs like "The Power Of Love" and "Carry On" from the DiC dub, performed a little concert for Sailor Moon fans at Anime Expo a few days ago. I think it's awesome that she and the band did this!

I have to give props to Jennifer Cihi. Girl has some pipes!

I made it up.

In the past twenty years, a lot of small solar system bodies (Sedna, Makemake, etc) have been discovered so I wondered if they could inspire new characters down the line.

Tanin got frustrated because this idea has apparently shown up in bad fan fiction.

Meh. If it's a celestial body, it's shown up in Sailor Moon fan fiction as a sailor. That doesn't mean it should never happen in the actual series, provided it's a good addition.

FINALLY caught the new episode and I'm liking what I'm seeing. The animation is glorious and I'm happy as hell they toned down Usagi's personality, which is nigh intolerable in the original anime.

I remember tons of people writing "Sailor Sun" and "Sailor Earth" fanfics...the funny thing about those Sailor Earth fanfics is that in canon Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask is the protector of the Earth, basically if he was a girl he would have been Sailor Earth. XD

Yup he had his own attack in the manga. I hope it'll be shown in SMC, I want to hear him yelling "TUXEDO LA SMOKING BOMBER!!!!" lol

And the voice director on DiC's dub wrote a book about the making of the dub. I'm interested in reading it, though this blurb from the summary:
