This game rules. Holding up stores, ragdoll physics, drunk driving, getting High, and lot's of other features that make me like this game even more then GTA.. And the character customization is really good. But mainly, Mp, Co-op and everything else, it's just really sweet. So, who cares about gangsta talk, go buy it nooow.

Rented it, thought it was ok. Maybe I'm over the whole GTA experience as well. It was fun while it lasted. But the game would have been better if they had just some random guy riding in a car that had spinning rims and him saying "They spinnin ***** they spinnin! They spinnin ***** they spinning!! THEY SPINNIN ***** THEY SPIIIINIIINN!" Like Chris Rock.

I'd have to say one of the best parts about SR's story is the fact that at NO POINT do you have to fly an RC plane for David Cross into his rivals toy store, nor be forced by an FBI agent into getting your pilots license to save your brother. Unless of course, pilots licenses and insignificant/stupid toy shop wars have suddenly become "gangsta".

I've admitted more than once that the physics are fun, at least in the demo, so yeah....all "gangsta" hate aside, maybe I'll try it.

I played the demo, liked it but still am not sure if im going to pick up the full game or not.
Like someone else said, im kinda over the gangsta thing.
I rather create a vigilante that goes out and takes down all the gangs(Punisher style) rather than run with them. Also, i still cant get enough of GTA:SA.

I got this today.

I love the GTA series, so I'll always be biased to that. But Saints Row is a damn decent rip off. It's much more enjoyable than True Crime or The Getaway. They took the best parts of GTA and added alot of things GTA still is lacking (Ragdoll physics, kidnapping) and improved on a few things too (Holding up stores, robbing closed stores, car crashes) and adding things like pistol whipping is always good.

Still got a year till GTA4, this is a perfectly fine filler of GTA style next gen action, till then.

I can't really get into the modern gangsta feel....I liked the way GTASA handled it better because you got a variety in feel...there's the ghetto(which in the early 90s is much more interesting than the modern gangsta feel, and not so boring), the country, the Yakuza underworld, mysterious government desert...
