Sam Jackson should play Nick Fury, white or black... he should also be in Sin City 2 or 3... he should also have a cameo appearance in "Tarantulas on a Train" Sam Jackson is a great actor, and unlike all the silly young hotshots that people keep trying to cast, he's not overrated.

Seriously, Sam Jackson should play Nick Fury... put white people's face paint on him if you have to, but he was born for it... Ultimates just realized that and had the benefit of hindsight.

I would love it. I know 616 Fury came first and deserves his chance but I like Ultimate Fury more.

Not a single person in this thread said anything at all about disliking the casting choice of Sam Jackson because he's black. The only problem people have with the choice is that black Fury = Ultimate Fury while white Fury = 616 Fury. They are very different in their characterization and people have their own opinions on which character should be used.

I wasn't saying it can't/wont be, just that many people (as seen above with all the ultimate vs. 616 posts) believe that the actor chosen will decide if we see 616 or ultimate Fury. Chances are, we will see some combination of the two but I'd bet it will lean more toward the ultimate side.

I'd much rather not see Sam as Fury, because I hate the Ultimate universe. 616 Nick has been around forever, and he deserves to be the version that is represented in the movies, but it's a business. I might as well accept that Sam is gonna get that role.

Sam as fury is really easy to cast. Well at least as black ultimate fury. If a 616 Nick Fury was being made then I have no idea about who could play him. So im fine if they cast sam as ultimate fury.
