Samuel L. Jackson Does Unthinkable

It seems like people are now hiring Routh because he's a nice guy who got ****ed over by the people doing the Superman films. I'm glad. He seems too GOOD somehow to just fall into oblivion now.

Or maybe they are hiring him now because of his talent as an actor.

Damn, Routh is fine as **** in those pictures. :meow:

Yeah, he does look mighty fine.

I thought this might have been the sequel to Unbreakable. :o

Or maybe neither!

ha, judging from the title of the thread i thought this was going to be about Samuel L. Jackson turning down a movie. :lmao:

god i crack myself up. :o

:applaud

I miss Jackson as Frozone. Bring back Frozone (even in a spinoff I don't care). I wouldn't mind if it was partially set in the 70's during the early stages of his superhero career. How he becomes Frozone, how he meets his wife etc...
Incredibles 2 would be the best of course.

This movie sounds like the other future Sam Jackson movie called Blown where he plays the badguy against MI5 thats set in London??

So after doing Unbreakable and Unthinkable, what's next for Jackson?

Might I suggest:

Unbelievable

Unfathomable

Unlikable

Unsqueezable

Unavoidable

Unprofitable (that will be the last of the series)

He could have signed on to star opposite Denzel Washington in "Unstoppable."

The first still from the movie has been released.

Also, the editor of the film (Scott Chestnut) has posted a poster he apparently designed on his website.

Nice! So, Is this a good sign for this movie?

Also this,

30th American Film Market Will ‘Get Low’, Do the ‘Unthinkable’

Need another reason to move to California? It's not all bikinis, surfing, and an auspicious lack of glaucoma -- now there's a veritable crapload of movies premiering at the 30th Annual Afm, a few of which we can turn into innuendo-laden post titles. Nope. We are not kidding.

The American Film Market recently announced its lineup. Afm, to be held in Santa Monica the week of November 4th, has 445 films in its lineup. 73 of these (16.4 percent, if you're counting) are world premieres. 311 of the 445 are market premieres. Any bets on how many of those are gonna be good?

Here's what we do know: Get Low, starring Bill Murray, and Unthinkable, which features Samuel L. Jackson, will be premiering at Afm. So far, so good. And according to managing director Jonathon Wolf, Afm is a buyer's market. More than 8,000 film buyers and industry folk from 70 countries are expected to attend.

^ Interesting stuff. Thanks.

Sure, no prob.

Since the photo originates from a Swedish site i think it's a good sign for the international release but that article you posted means they still don't have a new US distributor in place. With the acting talent this movie can boast i don't think it should be too hard to find a new one though.

However, the movie is still set to get a dutch theatrical release date on April 8 according to imdb.
THE DARK KNIGHT!

:awesome:
It does look similar to the Batman/Joker interrogation scene.:hehe:

Looks like...Jackson is about to rape Sheen or something...

New still from a russian site where they say it will be released there in July.

The dutch release date of April 8 has been scrapped. The distributors here say it's uncertain when or if it will be released in theaters. If it is it probably will be later in the year but i'm not counting on it.:o

The Hurt Locker struggled to get a decent theatrical release here inspite of all the praise it got at film festivals and the awards it won. And when it finally did get released it only opened in 5 (!!) screens across the country shortly before the dvd hit.

I like the look of this, got some good actors in so could be good.
