Well, My boyfriend and i figured, everyone and their mother are going to be doing a Joker costume, and Didn't want to just blend into the crowd.

But we still wanted a Batman costume, so we settled on doing Scarecrow, in Begins.

The costume is almost completely finished (will be doine on halloween exactly)

But, we thought to share some pics so far (looks practically complete anyway)

So have a look, and let us know what you think.

So yeah, let us know, what do you think?

it's not a trench coat, and spray paint is too volatile (can't make it look how I'd want it to easily), but ta for the suggestion =D

I think I'm gonna run it through mud and stuff for dirtying it up

That looks really good, like a cross between the comics one and the Batman Begins one. You've also overcome the problem of the mask looking square. Plus I like the ripped straightjacket.

a better solution than running it through mud... from a standpoint of cleanliness, anyway... would be to get some brown and black shoe polish on a rag and apply some psuedo-dirt that way. might smell a little bit like shoe polish... but that would smell better than actual dirt/filth, lol.

where did I get trench coat? I meant straight jacket. duh. lol.

Ive seen some people use spray paint with some pretty decent results. I guess if thats what people use they can get the results they like.
