Yeah, the Rubie's ones are the best ones you can get. I saw them at a Halloween store a while back and they looked great.

You could of course to make it authentic get some Burlap style material and make your own. I imangine it'll bereally itchy but it'll look authentic.

wow...most likely because of this thread i had a dream about looking for the rubies scarecrow mask

They have this one on Amazon.com by Costume Kingdom

i cannot decide. does anyone here own one of these?

which one is the Rubie's one?

I think there both rubies, i remember when they released them, like the Batman ones they did different scarecrow ones, different prices.

i think the first one in your post thats the same as mine looks better ;)

Just curious, are there any scarecrow masks that are actually made from burlap sacks? or have that type of feel? or are they all rubber/latex?

i think they're all rubber/latex

I made a classic scarecrow mask out of burlap that turned out awesome. Ebay also had some great customs as well.

this is my crane costume from about 2 years ago. I'm fighting a giggling Batman.

I'll try to find a better picture of the mask itself.

but, it's made out of a burlap bag I ordered from ebay.

My friend had one made out of burlap and wore it to the Phoenix Comic Con last year.

Damn, AZspidey, tell your friend that his whole costume is amazingly awesome.

As for the rubies masks, here's me for Halloween in 2005. The mask is really cool for $14, but if you're skilled enough, I'd say make your own.

I couldn't find any burlap but I found this kind of burlap/plastic synthetic hybrid, it looks the same, feels the same but is less irritating on the face. PLus it was on offer for 50p for four metres. Then I just measured a bag shape large enough for my head and used brown and dark brown knitting wool to sew it together.
