School Shootings in AMISH COUNTRY?!

I was just watching the news and they've got coverage of a high school shooting rampage in the middle of Amish country.

Have we lost control of our faculties? Have we gone completely insane? Is this world so far gone that even the Amish are shooting each other?

Well considering that guns have existed since the 1500's, It would be safe to say that a gun would be legal within the parameters of their religious code. Probably an old musket.

Seriously though, that's three school shootings (if the one where the old guy took the girls hostage and kills one of them counts as school shooting) over the course of a month. Way too frequent for my liking.

That's nothing - in Colorado, this 50-year-old dude took a classroom hostage, kicked out all the guy students, and raped the girl students, eventually shooting two of them when they tried to escape.

Yup - after the Dawson College shooting, this one psychologist said that incidents like these are just elaborate suicides. These guys hate themselves and are severely depressed, but are just too angry to just off themselves in the privacy of their own homes. They're pissed and sad and want to die, but not before they f*** some people up first.

To them, it's the ultimate dream - doing what you want with no consequences.

Its pretty shocking really. The mentality of these individuals is so warped in their minds they have adopted an attitude which represents a dire need for psychological help. Some signs are hard to see but with most a simple change in day to day routine is enough to cause alarm. A simple, "Are you ok?" couldve opened up the doors to such discussion that would allow the individual to get help, but for most this goes ignored and their anger and hate for the wolrd builds up to a boiling point where there is so much hate and anger that the only way to get rid of is to manifest it in a physical form in which the person in question seeks out "vengeance" on the world before removing themselves as well. Really, sometimes I wish these people take their own lives and leave the innocent people alone.
