Our kids are such *****es nowadays. And yes, all you that are under 18 on here are included in that assessment. A good hitch in Afghanistan should straighten you all out.

Wow...just wow. Even now teachers don't take that seriously? I am starting to think maybe there low pay is warranted.

Also, the school security guard was on vacation and the school decided they didn't need a replacement while the "ONE" security guard was gone. And, the other two security guards at the school were laid off.

Not just anger management but justice. It seems like most of the kids in the past that have lost it were outcasts. Me and a few friends have brought this argument up many times. They seriously need to start punishing, and by punish I mean major major suspension or expulsion for bullies and people who constantly embarras and **** on others simply because they don't share the same interests or have the same outgoing personality.

I use to sick up for people in school when they got picked on. I never hung with just one group, I circulated...mods, hippies, druggies (same as hippies), jocks, nerds, techies, rockers, skaters....no wonder I'm so confused.

In response to Terrys post about kids being "soft"....as a 28 yo adult....its easy to forget what that time in your life can be like if you are an outsider, if thats the case in regards to this shooting,...I think people underestimate the psychological damage that bullying and school violence can do to kids.

That's you....I got picked on for a bit too, but then around 4th or 5th grade I got taller than everyone else so it stopped. Kids are cruel though....When I was in HS we had an incident here in CT (not sure if it made news everywhere, but it was a big deal here) Some kid, quiet type, got his eye put out because these other kids felt he read too much and made them look bad in class one day......
