Scientology Kills

Yeah, I know what the text book definition is. I'm just pointing out the way I see it.

well it's hard to know what the originators of a religion or cult actually believed. is a suicide cult a religion because the leader commits suicide along with their followers.

They actually showed the original Anonymous video, I wonder if the creators knew that it would get this far.

Zenien, my argument with you has gone in all the circles it can possibly go in. Suffice it to say, I believe you're focusing on far too small a problem, when there are much more dangerous threats to our well-being out there than Scientologists.

I don't really feel that we're necessarily going in circles as much as were were having some back and forth and a lot of your tent polls were being knocked down. You claim I hate Scientology when I don't etc. When it comes to the core issue of how much focus you feel like I'm putting on this issue, that's something we disagree about, but without you actually offering whatever your actual proposed alternative is, when I've explained clearly why it's appropriate to draw attention to these trespasses, we don't really have much more to talk about.

Has the full Jason Beghe interview up, it has some very interestign comments contained within.

in some ways it seemed he was upset at the church for not following hubburds ideas properly. and he still believes in the power of suggestion as having some benefits but that it can lead to believing the rediculous aswell.

Alan Moore approves of masks

MOORE: "I thought the way that South Park handled that bit with the Scientologists was wonderful. I was also quite heartened the other day when watching the news to see that there were demonstrations outside the Scientology headquarters over here, and that they suddenly flashed to a clip showing all these demonstrators wearing V for Vendetta [Guy Fawkes] masks. That pleased me. That gave me a warm little glow."

Alan Moore may approve of these masks, but that still doesn't change things. Anyone who thinks they can dress up like a comic book character and successfully dismantle the Church of Scientology by waving pretty signs and shouting insults is a total crackpot.

Who the **** cares what Alan Moore thinks?

dude you act as if I said something about your mom...settle down..I was just posting what the man said

Who the **** cares what Alan Moore thinks?

weren't you the one arguing against the mask because of V for Vandetta?

and now the writer of the book approves of what you were arguing against...so I'd say you care

Yeah, it's seemingly the only thing he has ever approved in his life. It still however does not remove the fact that the message of the book is being lost.

and surely sales of the book have dropped because of the people wearing the mask...it's a book not a sacred document...
