Sequels Scorpion Or Mysterio For sequel?

I mean I don't really care that much to see Venom, Hes a seriously OVERRATED villain. I've seen him on film before and topher grace did great with the work he had. But the amount of time spent on developing the Character was horrible.

I think he's a worthwhile villain, but he there's a lot of story to tell before you get to him.

I know for a Fact Andrew Will do good ! ( off subject but sort of relates)

They probably wont go with that because Venom and green goblin have been done. Add like Side Characters like
Amazing Spider-Man 1: Lizard
Amazing Spider-Man 2: Scorpion with Mysterio stealing tech for Oscorp.
Amazing Spider-Man 3: Kraven was hired by Norman to kill Spider-Man so he's out of the way of his criminal Empire. Spidey gets the black suit and the death of gwen stacy.
Amazing Spider-Man 4: Introuduce Mary Jane, Spidey Fights Venom. Maybe shocker as a side villain that he just takes down, carnage and venom vs. Spidey?

So you don't think they'll do Green Goblin, Spider-Man's arch enemy, or Venom because they've been done, yet you turn around and suggest a film with both Carnage and Venom? What?

That wouldn't make much sense.

I think it's a given by now that Green Goblin presence will be felt in this series, with the mere inclusion of Gwen Stacy as the first love interest in the reboot.

There defiantly going to have a venom spinoff, it's been confirmed. And they will most defiantly have carnage.

What is there for the Venom film to spin off from? The Raimi series is over, and Venom is unlikely to be in this incarnation of the Spider-Man franchise.

Definitely. I will take a skinny guy who can deliver and A+ performance over a muscular dude who can deliver a C performance.

Jensen Ackles can act and has the look and size that Topher Grace lacked. Add twenty-five pounds of muscle, and we're in business.

Brock needs to be a guy with attitude. Not a copy of Peter like Topher was. I'm all for making Brock closer in age to Peter, but not Peter's clone.

Dead in the water. Rhett Reese, one of the guys who wrote the script for the Venom spin-off, confirmed it wasn't happening on Twitter.

Agreed!

Yeah, the venom thing was confirmed back when Raimi's 4 with the vulture was confirmed. When that was scrapped in favor of reboot venom was too.

Thank God we won't have to endure Venom: The Lethal Protector on screen.

Don't people count Venom as the dark reflection of Spider-Man? They kinda did that to Brock too

I get the impression that it's more about his career and the fact that Venom is Spider-Manish in his look and powers rather than being a shrimpy, somewhat geeky guy. But I'm no Spider-Man expert.

You got the right impression
I think a dark mirror image should have the guy behind the symbiote the same

Same symbiote, two different people.

With Eddie Brock, he's often meant to be the opposite of Peter Parker. So where Peter was weak before receiving his powers, Eddie is strong without the symbiote. Add the same spider-powers to them both, and it's only natural that Venom is stronger.

People who don't fully understand the Symbiote, do; but, that's not what he is. Neither Eddie nor Venom is a dark reflection of Peter or Spiderman. Two different people, affected by the same Symbiote. Only similarity to reflect on is their powers.

Peter himself, when he had the Symbiote, became a dark reflection of himself; thus, Symbiote Spidey became a dark reflection of Spiderman. Venom is the result of its own entity; based off the personality & quality of Eddie Brock. A totally different being(person).

This why I think the writers have started messing up the character of Venom; because, they have turn him into something he original was not...over and over again. To the point, they have not a clue what to do with the character.

To me, Venom is an embodiment of the part of Peter Parker that he would like to deny the existence of, his dark side without a conscience to keep it in check. Venom does things that Peter Parker would love to do, but his conscience prevents him from doing so, like punching the Flash Thompsons of the world right in the face.

That has nothing to do with Venom and every thing to do with the Symbiote & the Symbiote influence on Black Spidey.
