Scream 4!!!!!

Mickey was great fun, too. He never felt like a Stu rip off to me. Stu was extremely hyper active, with no real motive.

Mickey is my favorite killer. I mean why the hate? His motive was pretty ingenious while continuing the whole addressing movies thing these films have always been about.

Plus, Mrs. Loomis only wanted to kill Sidney. She just wanted revenge. All the other killings were Mickey because of his scheme. She was Ghostface in the sorority house with the attack on Sidney and when Sidney was doing the rehearsal play. Mrs. Loomis didn't care about Mickey's motive, which is why she ended up killing him. In order for her scheme to work and for her to mistrust everyone, there needed to be another. Perfectly reasonable.

I think Mrs Loomis wanted revenge on Gale, too. That's why she brought her to the final showdown. "Two birds, one stone". She'd been hanging around Gale all through the movie. I'm certain it was Mrs Loomis who was Ghostface in the Film School chase because Mickey was after Sid and Hallie in the Cop car at the time, and Mrs Loomis was outside the Film School on the phone when Gale ran out of there.

It was Gale's phone she rang when Randy was killed. I think Gale was her original target there, but Randy copped it because he pissed her off by insulting Billy.

Yeah, Gale too. I forgot about that.

I always thought Mickey was the one who chased them in the film school. Because when he stops trying to break into where Gale is hiding, he just says, "**** it" and leaves for Sid and Hallie in the car.

But your theory makes alot more sense. Because how the hell would Mickey get from the film school all the way to he road in time?

No clue how you can take Laurie Metcalf's performance in the ending of Scream 2 and think she's playing a clown. She's flipping insane there and it comes out left field for one of two reasons.

1) She's such a minor character in the movie before that.
2) Her most famous previous role was that a lovable oaf of an Aunt in Roseanne. So when she's able to pull off that anger towards Sid she has there? It's amazing and unexpected because you've got that nagging ''Holy hell this is Aunt Jackie."

And she's Andy's Mom! :awesome:

She had a son named Andy in Toy Story and Roseanne. Hmm.

Andy Loomis is the killer in Scream 4.

She's just badly written. I wouldn't necessarily blame Laurie Metcalf per se. It comes out of nowhere because she's underwritten. You don't really care when she's revealed as it's more of a WTF? It felt more like a Scooby-Doo ending.

The reason the killers reveal at the end of the first Scream works so well is because by that point we have come to care about the two characters. There's no sense of that at all in the second one. Just very random.

Really?

There's a complete build up to Ms. Loomis. From the Stab clip, to the talk about female serial killers Randy and Dewey has. Hate all you want, but there's a complete set up leading towards Ms. Loomis. It's called a surprise twist that there's suddenly a often mentioned background character is really one of the minor characters of the film. Ms. Loomis even tells on herself as Debbie Salt. ''I just thought if the killer is repeating Woodsboro. They could be from Woodsboro. That's all."

It's all set up throughout the film for her. As for Mickey? Just like Hallie, Randy, and Derek throughout the film, he's there beside Sidney, treating her like a true friend. He reassures her everything is going to be okay and that they are all there for her. Don't know about you, but that gave me enough reason to like Mickey, if he's sitting there acting like a good friend to Sidney and then bam at the end he's been trying to kill her all along.

Things that come out of nowhere in this series with very little to no setup? Roman as Sid's half-brother. Sure, we get talk of Reena Reynolds and how she's Sid's mom and a bit player in movies, but not once before the ending do we get any sort of inkling that Sid's mom's ****ish ways comes from being gang banged by Milton and his friends and producing Roman.

Anybody ever actually dress up as Ghostface for Halloween? I think I did it once a long time ago. I don't go trick or treating anymore though. I just sit home and watch horror films.

I love how when the steam picks up around a new movie the haters come out to play.

The last time I actually trick or treated was in 99 and I went as ghostface . I'm too old for trick or treating now but might wear it to a costume party this year.

My ex used to wait on my porch for me after school because we got out at different times. One time my brother let her in and she decided to scare me. She hid in the living closet by the door , when i walked in she jumped out with the ghost face costume on , luckily she was like a foot shorter or I would of had a heart attack lol.

^^ Lol, nice. I haven't trick or treated in a long time, and tbh, I'm glad I don't. I love the holiday, but my drive to dress up died a while ago.

I was for a couple of years in elementary school. Then I switched out for the laughing one in Scary Movie. :oldrazz: Last time I trick or treated was about 2 years ago. I was 17, but my friend had twisted his ankle earlier that day so me and my friend took one of his shoes and trick or treated 'em full of candy as a get-well present.

I went to a couple different halloween parties as Ghostface 'back in the day'. I still have the costume.

Incidently - does anyone know the music cues used in this trailer.

It sounds a lot like Beltrami has an "updated" theme for this one that's very close to the original. So there's the updated and the original Scream themes - but does anyone know what the other cues are?

I never said I didn't like the fact that it was Billy's mother as the killer. I didn't like how she was played. She completely hammed it up. Was she crazy? Sure. But she could have played it in a far more sinister tone, rather than outlandish and comical. Stu was comical, but in a different way. The comical aspect of Mrs.Loomis seems far too unintentional and cheesy. Didn't like her at all.

She's psychotic. How do psychotic people act exactly?
