On a side note: The nurse who looks just like Laverne was on Thursday's episode. They really either need to address that when it is on ABC or drop the story line all together. I know originally JD was supposed to be the only one who thought she looked like Nurse Roberts (and that was going to be a running joke throughout the season) but they seem to have lost that story line in the strike, so they really either need to run with it right away in the premiere or just get rid of the actress all together, because with no explanation, and no breaking of the fourth wall joke like JD being the only one to see the resemblence, it just feels cheap.

Here's a little message Zach Braff wrote online to fans concerned about the finale that NBC aired.

In what may well be the most anti-climactic announcement in the history of anti-climactic announcements, Zach Braff confirmed to his cronies on MySpace today that Scrubs will, in fact, be moving to ABC next season. His complete missive is below:

Dear friends,

Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season. We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned.

Also, several of you were very confused by the fact that Dr. Kelso and Laverne were still working at the hospital in the Fairy Tale episode. Because of the writer's strike, the last remaining episodes for NBC were aired out of order. This is why Dr. Kelso was still chief of medicine. That was not Laverne however, for those of you who have been following closely; it was a new nurse "Shirley" who no one thinks looks anything like Laverne except for JD.

Hope this clears some things up.

Oh yea. Forgot about that. Well, they are still losing ER next year. That show has been on their 10pm time slot since 1994. They better find a good replacement if they want their Thursday night line up to be successful.

Nah, they've already confirmed its not him. No one knows what it is about though. It is being kept heavily under wraps. Amanda Peet and Will Arnett are some names that are being thrown around though.

Man, I hope none of the current cast leaves The Office to do a spin-off.

And that doesn't happen until February of next year, as the spinoff first airs after the Super Bowl. SNL will air 3 half hour episodes in October that will focus on the Election. Other than that its going to be just reruns of The Office or the occasional hour long episode of The Offfice (season premiere, Christmas episode).

And it looks like Scrubs will be a midseason show on ABC.
