There's no way it comes back for season nine. Its barely pulling in 5 million viewers. That's not good for a network show. I don't see how they'd see ad space.
But the era of normal TV viewing is over and dead. With less people watching TV and the rise of the Internet, Tivo, and digital downloads, TV ratings have to be looked at in a completely different manner now.
Notice ABC when ABC flashed the ad tomorrow at the bottom of the screen it said "season finale tomorrow" instead of series? Plus they didn't advertise it as the one hour series finale. Pretty good sign that it is coming back. Ugh, Scrubs without Braff, Chalke, Flynn, Faison, and Reyes just screams Spin City without Michael J. Fox. Lawrence needs to learn how to end his shows at the proper time.
I swear some TV networks should just have a logo of a man beating a dead horse.
Because neither ABC nor Bill Lawrence has the best record of this. Look what they did to Spin City when Michael J. Fox and half of the original cast left.
Crap, tonight's episode is delayed until next Tuesday because of the news conference.![]()
