Scrubs: Season 8 on a new network

I wouldn't mind seeing this show continue if there was a character that I actually would want to see, but all the new interns aren't that interesting to me. & even keeping Cox around doesn't interest me. He really is just a one trick pony. A really funny one trick pony but still.

Basically there is no reason for me to continue watching the show. Some one brought up ER. Well ER always slowly phased out the original cast while introducing a new one, so that the transition would seem seemless.

No one posted anything earlier today :cmad:

I was so looking forward to laying on my couch and watching it in HD since I haven't been able to since I've been at school :csad:

yeah ive missed a couple this season due to their schedule changes, you should watch the episodes on abc.com though, they are actually great quality and no commercials!

also in regards to watching the show with characters people care about, yea it could work, but start a new damn show all together. scrubs was the story of JD. plain an simple. thats why every episode title started with 'My' ....."My First Day" , " My Finale", i just cant stand the fact that they are/thinking about doing a season 9 after episodes called My Finale part 1 and 2.

and from what i can tell, the only people that will stay are the people in the brain trust (minus janitor neil flynn IS leaving) and maybe kelso.

i love kelso but no. comon bill lawrence are you serious? theyve talked about scrubs ending since season 6, and now they are thinking about 9!

**head explodes**(again)

just saw the latest episode on abc.com and it was a nice set up for the finale. I still can't see why anyone would watch after this season. All the major people are leaving. There's nothing left. and I don't care about interns even if Jo is hot...

I'm stoked for the finale. This season has been awesome and Cox/JD and JD/Turk has always been my main reason to keep watching. They're great for both drama and comedy. I do hope the show ends after this season though. It's had its run. Time to go.

Bill Lawrence had nothing to do with those episodes. He actually left prior to Fox's final season.

Did they ever mention on the show why some of the characters left City Hall?

I don't recall that happening.

A leatherbound book of all of Dr. Cox's rants...I'd like to have that. :D

Your my brown bear

*growls*

Thought was funny or stuff from the first season.

haha when JD says to carla "he loves us about equally" that was great hahaha

The Janitor's real name!

Hehe, nevermind. :funny:

ah! we still don't know his real name! lol

Cox poured his heart out and he didn't know JD is behind him! :lmao:

actually i think what janitor said to JD was his real name, which is why he had that look on his face after that guy called him something different.

They're going to try to continue after that finale?

And that is why ABC and Lawrence should let the show die with dignity. There is absolutely no way, what-so-ever to top that finale. Despite the past two seasons being fairly metiocre this was the perfect ending to the series. I really hope they don't ruin it. Only one thing disappointed me, that Brendan Frasier and Michael J. Fox weren't among the cameoes at the end. I was waiting for them. Aside from that everything from Kelso's departure to J.D. and Cox's goodbye was perfect. And the epilogue (of sorts) was wonderful. I really hope they don't destroy it.

that was a good finale. Scrubs is done for me as far as I am concerned.

Same here. I might check out whatever version comes on television if it continues sometimes, but Scrubs has just ended.

fantastic finale....it was good to see JD get that validation from Dr. Cox

Anyone Else disappointed Brendan Frasier did not make a cameo .

I missed it. I only have one question.

Did JD get that hug?
