In a sense, it was Star Trek underwater. Roy Scheider was the captain of the sub. I only saw one or two episodes, so I have practically no recall of it. Anyhow, Netflix is about to send me the first disc.

we have a thread about it I recall and I got the box set

I saw some of it. Didn't seem that great.

that's why I'm a mod :D

Then use your devine influence and fix the search.

I'm a mod not a admin :p and I didn't have troubles finding it :D

Living under a rock Immortal? Of course people know this show.

I remember this show.It had a talking dolphin right? Also, one of the actors (Jonathan Brandis) killed himself a few years ago :(

wasnt the guy from jaws in this show ???

sweet, Yeah i remember the show.. I think reruns play on scifi some nights.

It had potential, but lapsed into cheesiness after a couple seasons.

I remember a talking dolphin that had it's own scuba gear. I think I remember an episode where they went to an alternate dimension or something and found the that the remaining humans had a videogame addiction and never had contact with each other.

Yep that's it. It's on Space 7 PM sundays just before Smallville.

I saw the boxset yesterday and was about to pick it up, but it's 40 bucks so...maybe later. I do remember loving that show as a kid though.

It was an updated version of the 1960's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

Ahhhh... started out with such great promise, only to be dashed apart of the rocks of the network execs...

Season One... off to a solid start establishing the UEO and the politics of the world...

Season Two... all of a sudden, the show turns into SeaQuest 90210... other than the introduction of the concept of the Daggers, this season is almost a total loss...

Season Three... the season of the "Giant Monsters"... Roy Schieder is gone, probably upset over the downswing of the show, and Micheal Ironside is in... and the show is outta here!!!

x2! :D

They even made a book out of this series, I still have it. :o

I was a big Lois and Clark fan, and it always drove me nuts that the two shows were on head-to-head and Seaquest was dominating the ratings.
