Well, I guess I can understand why this episode is titled "In the blood".

I still can't get with the extreme violence. I'm sure people are going to get tired of hearing me say it. But, a scalpel is as effective as a sledgehammer. I kinda figured what was going to happen to the guy without having to see the whole 3 minutes of decapitation.
It seemed to me everyone had a bad case of "The stupids" this episode.
I really don't get Karen. She'd have a much simpler time getting where she's headed if she just painted a bullseye on her forehead. (no pun intended.

) Urich was pretty cool,though.
Shouldn't those Russian mobsters have just grabbed Claire in the garage and stuck a gun to her head to begin with, instead of just firing blindly at DD into the dark?
So lemmie get this straight. You're not even allowed to say the guy's name in public, but you think it's a good idea to run up to the top man while he's eating dinner with a woman in a public place to talk business?
I don't see what's to stop anyone from going after Claire and that upstairs kid again.
I don't know what to feel about DD's apparent lack of care about killing his enemies. At least they seem to be going more Batman "There but for the Grace of God,should that guy be dead" than Arrow's "I kills 'em,until I don't want to kills 'em no more." concept. I wish they would come down on it a bit tighter regarding how he stands on it.
I know folks seem to approve the lack of Marvel references, but I feel they are trying too hard to avoid it at this point. I figure Claire would compare what he's trying to do to one of the MCU heroes by now. Would be interesting to get his reaction. ( I know Wesley made a reference, but given it came out in the trailer,it hadn't as much impact)
D'Onofrio was great. Perfectly cast.
