Wow. What a finale!!! I’m very optimistic for season 2 after these last two episodes.

Wondering if these events will play into any of the films going forward

Hot DAMN THEY STUCK THE LANDING. What a finale. I would almost give it a 10/10 except i got slightly annoyed with some of the slo-mo during the action scenes. I wish they would have just let it play out at normal pace but this was damn good y'all.

Season 2 is going to be FIRE. The way they set the stage for it, its in good hands.

I read a comment that described this one as a "good episode but a bad finale", and that basically sums it up, IMO.

Overall, BA is easily the weakest season of Daredevil, and it's wild to know it could've been even worse.

Not gonna lie, this was a bit lame for me. The whole season felt like it built and built and built and the big pay off never came. Lots of great individual scenes but very uneven.
I'm hopeful for Season 2 though, since the new team has both hands on the wheel this time around.

I need to let the finale marinate a little bit more before I can give an honest opinion on it, but mostly it felt rushed and setting up the Punisher special.

It was nice to see Karen back, interacting with Matt and Frank.

Can't complain too much since this show was Frankensteined and it was still really solid. I just need to let it all sink in a little bit more.

That finale was f'ing frightening because that felt real. Especially speaking as a New Yorker. Props to the writers for actually going there and also for that voice over at the end with Matt. Again, one of this show's greatest feats is making the city feel like a character. That's the main reason why I love Marvel above the others because its DNA is NYC.

Considering everything going on in the country, the madman in the Office, that whole Safer Streets initiative felt possible. But real world parallels aside, glad to see Fisk fully back as the Kingpin.

The amount of killing dished out by him and Frank in this was insane. When Kingpin crushed the commish's head, I was like:



Can't wait to see what they cook up in Season 2.

Ugh I just love this set up for season 2, we're going to get an all out war in NYC. Its basically going to be what the original Defenders SHOULD have been. Its probably going to be a much more action heavy season I'm betting.

Obviously we know the answer to this, but damn, New York had a whole blackout, rampant lawlessness in the streets and where the hell was Spider-Man?!

It's like The Penguin all over again without Batsy.

I think EVERYBODY thought that, my friend, and the writers know that too. There is no way they are NOT building up to the return of the Defenders in season 2. But proper this time.

The setup for next season is great, and there is no way they do this without using the other Defenders. Absolutely none. I am only sad we probably won't see Spider-Man appear. Something this scale, I would like to see at least a brief appearance. But outside that.....the setup they have is amazing

I kept looking at the blackout scene hoping to see some web swinging, Hawkeye or even the swordsman but no luck.

The swordsman did appear in one of the cells in the end. I know he was shown in action in cellphone footage but I would have loved actually seeing him actually in action during these events and see him getting captured.

Bro, I'm PROBABLY going to be wrong but...I'm gonna go out on a limb that in the season 2 finale we get a TEASE of Spider-man. Like, he wont be in it fighting alongside Daredevil and the Defenders or anything but we'll get like a montage scene of all Hell breaking loose throughout NYC and we'll see some random thugs get webbed up, but we wont see Spidey but we'll know its him.
