"Be careful, man!" Chris Evans warns Sebastian Stan after he is asked which Marvel Studios film he would like to see his Winter Soldier character appear in during their panel at Wizard World in Philadelphia. "You're gonna break the internet tomorrow," Falcon actor Anthony Mackie chimed in.

Still, Stan teased the future of Bucky, at least from his perspective. "I don't know, man. I mean, there's obviously a very clear answer but I'm not gonna maybe say it, now," Stan started before getting more specific. "Where did he end up at the end of the movie? That's the movie he should be in," the actor said.

Captain America: Civil War spoilers follow. By the end of Civil War's over two hour run time, Bucky Barnes found himself in stasis under in Black Panther's home of Wakanda. His rhetorical asking of where Bucky ended up at the end of Civil War is clearly a tease of Stan wanting to see the Winter Soldier get involved with 2018's Ryan Coogler directed Black Panther film.

"I feel like that would be the natural... But I don't know," Stan concluded.

If Stan were to pop up in Black Panther, it would be the first non-Captain America movie the actor worked on and the first non-Russo brothers directed film since The First Avenger in 2011.

Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters. Black Panther is set for release on February 16, 2018.

T'Challa will reanimate Bucky because he's the only one who remembers how to reprogram the Blu-ray player.

Kinda iffy on this one.

I mean, it'll be kinda weird to know he's just... there, sleeping, while everything else in that movie is going on. And then any full-fledged assault on Wakanda can be solved by unleashing him. Heck even if that's not the case, we'd still have to be reminded if he's [still] there or not. I don't know.

They kind of set up a number of different possible scenarios in CW actually. At this point, given how that movie goes, I'd be more surprised if he DIDN'T show up in this film.

I have to agree with Stan it seems logical WS makes an appearance yet I am thinking he might not even have a speaking part. It would actually be fun if he is just frozen in the background, conversations going on in front of him while frozen, fights breaking out and Bucky is just sitting there frozen doing nothing but chilling. And then by the end of the film BP figures out a way to break the mind control that Bucky suffers from and wakes him up. Then one of the Mid credits scene could be BP calling Steve saying, "Your boyfriend is awake, swing by and pick him up." I am only JOKING Sharon fans!

Can't wait to see that vibranium arm.

Me too. Though T'Challa would never give it to him until after he's fixed his brainwashing. Which means we've probably seen the last of Evil Bucky.

He's not that powerful. I can see him playing more of a sidekick role to Black Panther. He could tussle with the B-villain while T'challa has his final showdown with the Big Bad (likely MBJ's character).

Maybe if Black Panther were a comedy that for some reason took place primarily within the confines of T'Challa's laboratory.

I don't want to see too many other Avengers/CW characters in BP, I'm fine with a cameo or two, but I really want BP to focus on T'Challa and Wakanda...I don't even want any of them to play a sidekick role.

I'd like a CA:TWS type "political thriller" structure. MBJ/Killmonger stages a coup, T'Challa winds up in exile with Lupita/female companion/Black Widow-type character and Bucky/sidekick/Falcon-type character, the three work together to fight Killmonger and his co-conspirators. In the end, Black Panther defeats Killmonger and regains his throne. A big difference is that T'Challa+Lupita would be a romance, unlike Cap+Black Widow.

Feige's mention of "geo-political thriller" makes me think there will be some type of international travel, but I hope he just means that international forces will be coming into Wakanda to cause trouble. I want them to explore this country as much as possible, it's a new world and they could do a lot with it.

Im sure if Bucky has a part in the movie it will be a purpose. Some knowledge he has is morw than likly the key to him being revived and used by Tchalla

Haha love it!

I for one cannot wait to see more of him, whether it is in BP (logical) or not, he is my favourite character.

I love Bucky but I don't want any established characters in T'Challa's first film.

I wouldn't mind an after credits cameo though.

This is racism, but you knew this.

Per the Infinity War panel from today:

T'Challa and Bucky are seen in battle alongside the Wakandan army.

I'm guessing Bucky is gonna remain frozen through this movie but be thawed out in Infinity War.

were you guys pleased with his cameo or were you hoping for more to it?

Where in the world did you get this conclusion that what MarvelMayhem wrote was racist??????

Yes, I liked it. I also liked how they are using natural methods to try and help him heal vs just locking him up in a freezer again. I'm also looking forward to him possibly taking up the White Wolf role, and I do hope we see him and Sam interact again, because their chemistry was off the charts.

I think I was hoping for a little more. Maybe see him in the lab in the background first.

I did feel like a connection to IFW was missing at the end. Was hoping for something more like Ragnarok's after credits.

Who directed that scene -- Coogler or the Russo brothers (or Gunn considering he said he directed several tag-on scenes)?

Bucky's cameo was just the right amount of cameo. Ties it into the MCU, alludes to a future MCU storyline, but doesn't dominate the movie. The movie really needed to be all about Black Panther and the ancillary characters.

i agree 100%. It didn't overshadow BP and I really liked that. I was worried that they might have tried to push so much of IW into this.

It was exactly as I thought it would be.

Honestly though, I would've liked to have seen the bit from the Infinity War prelude comic where Shuri updates T'Challa on her progress with Barnes. It's a pretty funny little scene between the two that pretty firmly establishes both her intellectual prowess (since it's presented as the hardest problem she's yet faced, while still managing to figure it out with relative ease) and her attitude towards Stark's reputation as a tech wiz (which basically amounts to "He ain't all that"). Plus, for those who actually care about the "science" of this, she explains how she fixed him.

I wonder does his post credit scene appearance count towards his 9 picture deal leaving 5 more to go not counting Avengers 3 & 4
