Hey guys, I dunno if this has been posted or not (looked, but didn't find), but I've been out of the loop on TF scoops for a while now, so I really don't get what this is about...

Are the DINOBOTS in the movie??

what's with this "secret site" thing? Is it an inside joke? a tease for the fans? or a real element for the film?

Its real. It was posted on Sector Seven way back along with 2 other videos. There just there to hype fans up. The dinobots nor the other bots(Kickback I think?) are in the film.

Hence, using G1 designs.. Once Hasbro got involved they tossed all that stuff out, opting for new toy designs.

Anyways, it's just promo material, not in the final film.

I saw those things floating around on Youtube before they went up on the site. I suspect that it's some sort of side-marketing or a a private project they bought out. Anyway, what is shown has nothing to do with the actual movie.

I doubt that's real, look how much the resemble their G1 counterparts, it'd be odd to see Grimlock side by side with Optimus; they wouldn't look like they're in the same "family/species" for the film, it just wouldn't properly mesh together. I hope that makes sense.

^ Yes, seeing that Grimlock clip just makes me want to see the real G1 Transformers even more.

Kinda makes me think that since the Transformers in the movie can pretty much adapt to anything, size comparable of course, that if they were to crash down in a remote area of the desert, with nothing in plain view for miles, they would probably scan for the nearest things and they could end up with some fossils. It makes sense really.
