The filters that this game collection uses are absolutely hideous, and they make the games look like painted mud! I know that you have the option to turn them off, but even so, it seems like a half-assed gimmick to be able to sell the games as "running in high definition." What a joke! I'll stick with my real Sega Genesis!

Just found this thread, awesome. When't the release date again? Nevermind, I can just google it. Anyway, very awesome.

I still love Genesis games, and 40 for $30 is a great price. Especially when other companies try to sell old games for like $5-6 a piece. There's also a lot of good games on that, so not just quantity, but quality.

My only wish was online multiplayer for Streets of Rage, but that's asking too much for the price. Well I guess that, and that they were able to include X-Men and X-Men clone wars, and maybe one of the TMNT games.

Why is noone else as excited as me to play Alien Syndrome again? That game is awesome.

Oh, and Tim, the filter is optional...you can turn it off and play them as the originals. That is what I'll be doing.

Unlocking some of these was easy. I unlocked Shinobi, Altered Beast and Space Harrier. greatness. Alien Syndrome is next.

This is well worth the price.

Playing it without the filter is better. IMO.

Yea, I bought it last night too. I unlocked Shinobi, Altered Beast, and Congo Bongo.

Playing through some of these games made me feel like fifteen again.

I will be unlocking Space Harrier and Alien Syndrome tonight. Those two games ate more of my quarters than almost any game in the arcade.
