You can buy points through the system.

Yes, but I don't have the money to spare right now unfortunately. Thanskgiving and Christmas and such. Maybe soon...hopefully. :(

Ecco the Dolphin, Golden Axe, and Super Star Solider (800 pts ea.) are the latest additions.

Looks like I'm going on and getting Ecco, love that game.:woot:

My Wii won't connect to the Shop for some reason. I just got a CC too!

It's probably your internet connection.

Probably. I haven't had any problems since launch other than yesterday and today.

Man. I want Ecco and unfortunately my connection to the Shop is down. :(

Stupid laptop having to be broken and having to be sent to Dell. :cmad:

Awesome. This thread got a stick. I will keep an update on when new games are added to the VC since I check it every few days.

Glad it got a sticky.

Thanks for keeping it updated Spidey.

As soon as I get the internet connection up and running...Ecco and Toe Jam and Earl will be mine.:woot:

Why would you guys honestly pay for these old games?

1 - Convenience.

2 - Nostalgia.

3 - Some of them are worth it.

2 - Nostalgia.

3 - Some of them are worth it.

Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario 1,2,3,world, Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask.....all of these are worth the money spent.

Plus not everyone agrees with Illegally downloading games, and it's also no different than those willing to spend money on old games on X-Box Live.

I'm not for supporting illegally downloading games. Doesn't mean I won't do it from time to time, but thats my own problem.

But the whole point of buying old games on XBL is to play on XBL...

And the point of Nintendo's Virtual Console is to make available the 20 + years worth of games that many grew up on. That is worth the money to many people.

Many of these games are very expensive to get ahold of if you tried to purchase them on the original cart. With the VC, it gives them the chance to play those old games again for much much less.

The XBL arcade games are new games built specifically for Live.

So what is it? It says decade so that probably rules out GoldenEye by only one year so maybe they were just generalizing like its been a long time.

I've heard Nintendo is working on negotiating with whoever to get Goldeneye on the VC.

Yeah Reggie mentioned that last week that they're working on a agreement that would please Activision, Microsoft and Nintendo.
