Where's Knuckles?!?!?!

Where's Axel Stone :( ?

Knuckles is in the background of the Sonic the Hedgehog stage. Axel, you can't have all the superstars in one game, as apparently Sega wants to make this a franchise similar to Smash Bros, only not a fighting game..I guess.

They'd be stupided to do a Smash Bros of their own. They can just ask Nintendo to throw some of their other worthy characters in Smash Bros now that Sonic is in that.

How so? There are other Smash Bros. ripoffs, and if the sales of SST are strong (enough), then why couldn't a SS Fighting game piggyback off the success of SSB?

Sega would **** it up like most Smash Bros rip-offs. (which their really haven't been that many of.) So no, you want Axel Stone, Alex Kidd, Vector Man in a fighting game just toss em in Smash Bros with Sonic. :o

So, you found SS Tennis to be fun, but can't give them the benefit of the doubt that a Fighter could be fun?

Well, all I know is that Sega wants to turn the Sega Superstars games into a franchise so we could see a Fighting game, a racing game, and party game...all this stuff sometime in the future.

And Sega characters being haphazardously added to the next SSB game could be a bad thing. Like throwing a party meant only for Nintendo, and Sega and Konami keep letting their friends sneak into the scene. I'd rather a Sega Superstar game all of its own than for a Nintendo-specific fighter to be flooded with Sega (and other companies) characters. 1-3 characters, maybe, tops.

Just as good, but even more unlikely, would be a Sega/Nintendo crossover fighter in vein of Sonic & Mario at the Olympics.

Prepare yourself for Smash Bros to not be only Nintendo based. Smash 4 will add more 3rd parties. It's the only nature progression for that series and with their flagship character already in Smash. Sega would be stupid to make a competition game, when they can just add their worthy characters in there.

Also apparently someone doesn't know, Sega are known to be synonymous with ****ing things up, the only things they do right nowadays are either overseen by some one with brains. (Miyamoto over Mario and Sonic) or by one of their subsidiary partners/friends.
