In the SON OF M series, Gen. Lazer took some of their Terrigen Mist crystals and refused to give them back to the Inhumans, so Black Bolt declared war on 'em.

And naturally not only is Namor pissed about Namorita's death but apparently he's had "sleeper cells" of Atlantian agents roaming about for years and are only now planning an attack. The question is, is Namor aware of these agents? If so, he is directly commanding them or just letting them do their business so he can friegn ignorance later?

I'm assuming he knew about them, as he was there when Wolverine was messing with those other Atlantean spies looking for Namorita, and chances are, he's spread out a HUGE network for Nitro. Despite the fact he found him now.

I wonder how Sentry will be able to stand up against Blackbolt. I'd love to see BB let lose against him.

If the Sentry is nearly as powerful as people keep alluding him to be, Black Bolt unleashed won't be strong enough, nor quick enough to take the Sentry down, since Sentry is beyond light speed.

Sentry is allegedly at the Silver Surfer beyond level, so much to be said to fight Galactus, and have power without limits, and abilities without restraint. So I don't see how a sound based attack would really stomp him, when Sentry could go from New York, to Africa, and back to holding his wife, with his wife only taking notice because he seemed to zone out for a moment.

All he has to do is shout "OMG! A puppy is about to be crushed in NoName Town, Illinois!!!" to send Sentry into a conflicted fit (fight or rescue) and Black Bolt uses that opening. Besides, he's a great kisser; you have to be when you can't talk.

I don't think the Sentry's as powerful as all that anymore. He certainly hasn't been shown as being that powerful in a while. The most recent incident I can recall is the first issue of his recent mini, when he speedblitzed Terrax and took him down in one hit. Since then, he's gone through a lot of changes that probably left him weak enough to be at a maneagable level--and by "manageable" I mean weak enough to justify his NA membership.

The real Thor probably wont show up in Civil War.

Yeah, I think Millar's leaving him entirely up to JMS.

Wowsers, lots of responses. I dont know, I still think Sentry is as powerful as hes always been. The only thing that made me think otherwise is when he was having trouble with the Collective mutant. Granted it was all the House of M lost mutant powers sentinent, but he shoulda had an easier time if he truly has the power of "one million exploding suns".

It says in the description of the book, that he has the power to end the civil war himself (which im assuming means he can take on anybody and everybody if need be). Im just interested to see how he comes to his decison. And if he really is as powerful as they claim, then Black Bolt, as much as a love the guy, aint gonna stand much of a chance if they fight (which i doubt they even will, but it be pretty badass).

Really? Just the Collective? What about when he couldn't handle Genis-Vell, who was suffering from cosmic awareness overload at the time, no less? I think he's definitely less powerful. How much less, I don't know, but given how inconsistent he's become, I'd say no one at Marvel knows, either.

But seriously, the Sentry at the level Jenkins initially established him was just way too powerful to really work in a team. I'm glad he's down around the level of the classic Marvel heavy-hitters now. Provided he can stay that way--which has already proven problematic--I wouldn't have a problem with his being on the New Avengers anymore. Maybe Bendis'll even start including him in stories now.
