ANd complaining that Steve might get with someone who looks "bland" at a funeral dry is just silly. 1) Scarlett JOhannson is so attractive she can look hot at any event, in any situation so I don't think it's really fair to compare. 2) This is Steve "Captain America" Rogers. He doesn't care just about looks. He can go out an get women probably even ones who are better looking than BW. He's a virtuous person. So as long as Sharon has some personality* I'm fine with it.

*And if youre argument is going to be that Sharon has no personality based a 3.5 minutes of screen time (a lot of which she barely spoke) then that's just silly.

The thing is that you really have essentially started your argument reductio ad adsurdum in the first place. You've picked photos from a funeral to attempt to prove your point, when there are plenty of other photos on the web where ScarJo herself looks bland and EVC looks stunning and charming.

And I've precisely made the point about a funeral because it is important and relevant to the point, and not reductio ad adsurdum at all. Sharon is not going to even attempt to look charming or glamorous for her great aunt's funeral. She is, of course, going to dress differently to Natasha. And she's also in more of a state of mourning than Widow would be, because Peggy is a personal connection to her. For Natasha, Peggy is just someone she read about.

You try going to a funeral and telling someone who is grieving and doesn't care what they wear that they look bland and uninspiring compared to someone who is a mere attendee. Do you honestly believe that Sharon should've made more of an effort to look glamorous?

So yes, it is your personal opinion, because there are plenty of pics out there that completely disprove your point that EVC looks bland, and for you to choose a picture where she would deliberately dress down (because the scene requires it) in order to prove your point shows your personal bias.

Scarlett looks FANTASTIC there - sleek, gorgeous and deadly. The straight hair contrasts very well with her big eyes and full lips.

Sharon's 70s inspired hairstyle in TWS was not the most flattering but it looked better than the straight fly away stuff she's sporting at he funeral tat doesn't suit her. Her whole look is surprisingly dowdy there and that's not Sharon from the comics at all and EVC has looked much better elsewhere as shown in photos above. The hair in that first posted photo would be ideal.

Moving on from her looks because like it or not she's in it, what are you guys hoping for with her in this.

Im hoping she has a good sized role. It doesn't have to be huge. I think something along the lines of what Mackie/Falcon had in TWS would be good. Falcon made small appearances in the first, but didn't show up again until the end of the 2nd act pretty much. However, he still had a good role and had a bunch of bad ass moments as well as being pretty funny.

I'm hoping for a substantial role. I'm hoping we get to see her do serious damage in a well choreographed fight scene/s and to showcase her gun skills. Most of all that EVC is up to the task and delivers at least a good performance with minimal whisper-talk.
