Shazam!!!

I'm not saying I want them to be as dark as Batman Begins, I mean FF was to cartoony thats what made them not be as much as of a success to the audiences. Spider-Man knew how to satisfy both kids and hard core fans (not including the horrible GG suit) well FF on the other hand was aimed directly for families and not as much fans especially in the Rise of the Silver Surfer. I mean they should make Shazam and The Flash on the same lines as Spider-Man. While Ghost Rider, Punisher, and Green Lantern should be on the same lines as Batman Begins...

The kid aimed comic films are always worse quality though. If they make it more like SM etc, they seem to pay more attention to quality, unlike F4 because they just have to appeal to the lowest common denominator, it's ok to make films for kids, but they make them so badly and basic.

The demographic has nothing to do with the quality of a film.
I have enjoyed some great films aimed at children, comic book films are aimed at fantasy lovers of all ages.
Kids are not the main demographic of comic book films, just like children are not the main demographic that comics appeal too.

Kid targeted films tend to be less creative and more formulaic on the wholoe, and simpler, thus detracting from quality.

some films can strike a balance between adults and kids case in point is he Incredibles one of the best superhero movies ever IMO.

And Finding Nemo.

My whole family loves it (6 people, youngest is 19).

Children's films can be a great success. However, very often, they're a load of stupid rubbish put out by a bunch of twits in suits who can't remember how to be a child.

Yes, we are all children at heart.

you cant compare those movies with Captain marvel

If it has the Rock in it or is made for little Kiddies count me out!

I dont know too much about Captain Marvel whats his personality and what drives him? or is he another empty headed square jawed hero?.

I've seriously come to like The Rock as an actor, probably mostly due to "Be Cool". However, Captain Marvel is the wrong role for him. He's Black Adam, plain and simple.

If this is supposed to be a Captain Marvel origin movie, Black Adam shouldn't even be the villain, its gotta be Dr. Sivana.

Wasn't he the one who said he hated the Shazam comics? I don't see why he'd be faithful to them!:csad:

He never said that. He said that the original stories weren't as good as someone say.
