Technically Superman was never rebooted in the first place. Returns was loosely tied to the Donner verse. (Hence the kid.) So your joke doesn't fly.

Yea very true anubis singer wanted his film to be a tribute to/connected to donnerverse. Which was a terrible way to go since that is 30+ yr old take on the character and its totally different character now.

Which is why a Reboot is needed. (and shoulda been done in the first place.)

Yea when i first heard of SR happening i thought it was going to be a reboot like batman begins was for batman. I am glad SR failed and wb finally realizing they made bad mistakes and now are going to change them, hopefully this reboot will be done in the right way and be able to unity most of the fans together after SR caused massive splits in the fan community.

Uh, it wasn't intended to be a joke, I was just making a comment that WB doesn't seem to feel like they can get any other superhero franchises off the ground until they've beaten Superman and Batman to death. And whether you want to consider SR a reboot or not, let's also not forget Smallville, Lois & Clark, Superboy, and the various Superman cartoons that they've made over the years since the Reeve films ended. I'm excited that we're getting a new Superman film, don't get me wrong... I just hate how everything seems to be put on the backburner until they get that character squared away.

Are you kidding? He's perfect for the role

I realize that the main point of this film is going to be "fun"....... but it should be a well-acted fun. Dwayne Johnson cannot act worth a lick. I mean... omg. If Dwayne Johnson is playing the main villian of a comic book movie... this has the potential of being the next Batman & Robin, Steel, or Catwoman (2004).

I wouldnt say Dwayne Johnson is a horrible actor. He wont be receiving an oscar anytime soon but, he can be quite entertaining but seems to be better suited for Cap Marvel than Black Adam. Either way hes not my top choice for either character.

Well, I'm just voicing my personal opinion on the guy. I'm not saying nobody should like him. Everyone should have their own opinion. But imo, the guy sucks.

just my opinion, I don't want the Rock anywhere near this production. He's a decent actor in action roles, but this movie requires more than just physical skill. It requires heart.

....The Rock can't act. have you seen "Doom"? sure he can get away with something like "The Rundown" and "Get Smart", but when he tries to be serious he fails.

T.V. really doens't have anything to do with the movies. I'm just sayin, you're talking about another reboot, when really, there hasn't been one to begin with.

Which is why I think he would work better for Cap than Adam but ultimately hes not my favorite for either

As far as the Rock as Black Adam, well, that depends entirely upon how they wanna use him. If they choose to go with the original interpretation of him, being pretty much your cookie cutter villain, then I'm sure Mr. Johnson could pull it off. If they choose to go with the tortured soul of recent years. The one you almost feel sorry for if he weren't so damn terrifying? Well, I don't know. Now, the Rock has come a long way in his acting abilities since his WWF/WWE days, but I haven't seen him show the type of depth needed to play a role like that. That is of course, IF they choose to go that route with Black Adam. Course, if they don't use the current characterization of Black Adam, I see no reason why they shouldn't just use SABBAC and save us the trouble of b***hing about it.

Yeah I know, it pisses me off too.

Well first we have no clue when this film will actually be happening and the rock has only been rumored for a long time to be attached to the black adam role. Who to say if this film happens in the next few yrs if he would still even want to do it or is free to do it.
