nice to hear the film might not be as dead as it was rumored to be. I said this before and i will say it again it blows alot that wb/dc just cant get their characters out there like marvel does. I like that marvel is willing to try films with characters and some have failed were others have done well/great. I wish wb/dc would try and gamble a little.

its because Marvel at least connects their movies...do you think there would be as much hype for Cap, Thor and Avengers movies if there wasnt the two cameos in Iron man and The Incrdible Hulk.....Could you really see a Superman or Wonder Woman cameo in the Nolanverse Batman movies...I cant

well even though nolan has stated he doesnt want super powered heroes exisiting in his world he set for his batman with the right story it could easily work out wonderfully, and all that.

Stick a fork in the Big Red Cheese, the WB are deep six-ing Captain Marvel. He'll have a better chance of a cameo appearance in a Justice League film.

That was a joke. I thought it was obvious that it was a joke, because I combined the struggling Captain Marvel project with the struggling Green Arrow project.

I doubt they've just abandoned all plans to make a SHAZAM movie. The people behind the project made a point of coming out and saying this was not the case.

yea it is just probably not going to be happening for a good long time right now like how superman is so up in the air too. Right now only dc films we can look forward to is gl and hex.

I got that it was a joke, BUT seriously Captain Marvel anything is DEAD.
The people behind the project were just saving face like the Superman Returns team.
Captain Marvel will never see the light of day in a solo project.

I've been on this thread for months and don't recall anything about him being in the movie. Just a few posters wanting him for the Marvel role.

I'd prefer someone with a stronger acting resume. Frasier is my top choice, though I'd be okay with a Hugh Jackman type unknown.
